Okay, so I am sitting here today getting a total kick out of these snipers on my ebay auctions that are ending today! I know, I need to get a life! :rotfl: I don't watch them all, but once in awhile.....

But I can't be the only one who loves seeing an item jump from $9.00 to $13.50 in less than a minute.

Come on, fess up! And what has been your best jump? This one today was pretty good, but last Christmas I had a trike on auction that went from $13.00 to $81!!! In the last few minutes. THAT was party time, I tell you!

The best part of selling is watching those last 30 seconds!! (except for those that end up without any bids :guilty: )

:rotfl: That will be me tomorrow night! I have a pair of boots ending tomorrow night that I'm expecting huge jumps in. I'm so excited :cheer2: (yes, I am pathetic  )

Hee Hee, that was me this afternoon! I had a rescue heroes sweatshirt that went from 7.50 to 18.50 in the last minute!! Woo Hoo! gotta love that!

It still amazes me how much people will spend for something! I paid about $20 for that sweatshirt new, and my son wore it pretty often....I almost made what I paid for it!

The other day I sold two pair of superhero jammies with capes....both in used condition (my son loved them!) but no rips, tears, etc. They went for $25! I couldn't believe it! I wouldn't have paid that much for them! :rotfl:

Disney_1derland,
How do you get the countdown like the one you have. I've gone to all the sites that have been mentioned on other threads but they all have the graphic countdown bar. I just want to get the data like you have. Thanks for your help.

They are from v50.net! :goodvibes

I am glad I am not the only one!

I am totally amazed at my auctions this week. I am seling some used homeschooling supplies--books and such that I am not using anymore. In a couple of cases, I bought stuff and then decided that it wasnt' what I wanted afterall. One of those items, I bought for $49.99 new and then never used the curriculum. Let me tell you, I was feeling pretty wasteful and foolish. But it sold for $46!!! What are these people thinking?? Why not just buy it new? Not worth the effort to save $4 if you ask me. NOT that I am complaining! :cool1: Just blows me away what people will pay for stuff on ebay. Like that sweatshirt, marcy...who buys a used sweatshirt for $18.50??? Bet you are glad you didn't put that in a garage sale, huh?

I just sold 3 black leotards for $14.50 i know they went that high cuz they are impossible to find now that dance starts soon. I was hoping for $3 at least. Got my wish!

I love that I have 6 days left on my costume auction and I already have bidding.

What kind of costumes? Ohhhh, if I could bring myself to sell the wonderful costumes MIL makes for my kids!

I like to watch the last couple of minutes for my auctions as well. Especially when those last minute bidders come to outbid the others!

1 hour to go on mine and just past $200!!! I'm really hoping for an all out bidding war and bumping past $400, but I'm ecstatic with what I have now

thanks, just needed to get that out :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

And why do you think I am online tonight? To watch one of my auctions end of course! I cannot believe people are paying so much money for something I paid so little for! I was hoping to pay for our APs with eBay profits, and I will be able to do that alot sooner than I had thought!

I am also home from work this week just cleaning house. It's either being ebayed, yard saled, donated, or thrown out! No more being a pack rat for me.

I didn't think Halloween costumes were going yet, pyrxtc - better dig all the ones I bought last year, on sale after Halloween, out of the attic!

Wow...$500 boots?? What kind were they?

After reading your posts I am thinking about giving EBay a try. My DD has 5 very dressy dresses from our cruise last year. I did get them on sale but they were expensive. They are all size 4 or 5. Would they sell? Should I wait until spring since they are summer dresses? That would make since! Are there a lot of fees? I have never even been to EBay! Is it time consuming to put things up for auction? Thanks for the help! :goodvibes

and to think I was excited about the dress that I just sold for $5 more than I paid for it last year on ebay, LOLOL....

$500 boots! that's awesome!!

they are the capezio vintage boots that a lot of celebs are wearing, they are apparantly the hot thing! A girl I work with bought them for $2 and she was going to sell them in a local consignment shop for $40, I talked her out of it :cheer2:
