Anyone Else Want A Ding For June?

We were just at Disney for 12 days over Feb. vacation and I really really want to go back!!

DH can't go because of work so I'm thinking of going with my mom and my 3 kids (6, 8, 10) for a week or so. We did this a couple years ago and had a great time. Now that we are stroller free, I know it will be even more fun.

Problem is I really want a $49 or so fare. Still hoping to see one, since most of the sales fares are good through May 24th for Florida.

So...anyone else hoping for a deal like this? We are flying from the Northeast...Boston, Hartford or Providence.

Hi Heather,On March 6th I got a DING PVD to MCO for June 27th. I paid $482.00 for 5 (one way) tickets. I am HOPING for a SUMMER SALE ! My flight is the LAST one out of PVD that day, and if prices go "cheaper "I am hoping to change flights! I also need a return in July. What DATES are you looking to fly?? If you can be flexible- have in your mind what will work for you and then if a DING or Summer Sale comes along you will know just what to book QUICKLY! I also check SWA prices a couple of times each day and I am ALWAYS checking DING! Right now PVD to MCO is priced at $69. (one Way)thru June 14th.and I keep hoping to see that extended! Joan

Hi Joan - That's great you got that Ding!!! I must have been a ding a ling that day and missed it!!! Oh well.

I do check ....all the time...every airline...every airport and every conceivable way to get the best price. I'm seeing a lot of airfares that have good prices through May 24th. I'm hoping when they extend it, I might see one. I will definitely grab it when and if I do.

Right now our dates are flexible. The kids finish school on June 12th, but I think they would prefer to be home for at least a couple days before we left. But...if I see $49 their little suitcases will be waiting by the door!! LOL.

I'll definitely post any rates that look good over the summer if they pop up.

Thanks Heather. I will post also if I see another DING or if SWA just drops their prices for the SUMMER!. By the way- I think it is a WONDERFUL idea to travel with your Mom and Kids. I am sure you will have a MAGICAL time and it will make such great memories! Joan

Heather, I noticed this morning that SWA has NO INTERNET fares now for most of May and into June. The last INTERNET fare is May 2nd and priced at $59. HOPEFULLY this means they are getting READY for a SUMMER SALE! I will keep checking! Joan

Heather, I JUST went back to an old post of mine and someone had replied that LAST year SWA "s SUMMER SALE was released late March or early April. So KEEP CHECKING! Joan

They just got a sale until April 5 or 7ths 49.00 to some fla cities.

Looks like we'll all be there in June! I got 5 seats for $59-69 each way out of Manchester when June fares were released the first day. I was so glad I did because fares skyrocketed the next day. I would love a ding to save a couple of bucks since DH and I are planning a trip for two to Vegas in August and I could put it towards the costs of that flight.
