Hopefully, tomorrow they will be opening fares through May 9,2008.

The credit is not to your credit card (although that did happen in the past to some people), it is a credit good for travel within a year. I don't plan on travelling after that for quite some time (at least not within the next year) so the credit would be worthless to me.

Just so you know, the Ticketless Travel Funds are transferrable, so that they can be used by anyone. Some people have even sold TTF on Ebay. You may not get full value, but you can get something. There are bunch listed on Ebay right now. Most of the ones are within $10 of the value. You can search under "Southwest airlines credit"

Does anyone know when May 23 date will be released for southwest? I called them yesterday and they said they were only releasing to may 9th. Is it going to be another 3 mths?

Yes, it probably will be another three months. If you check the SW website sometime after today, they should post the new date.

Nothing yet people. My SIL worked last night so she watched for a possible opening during the night and early morning, now the poor girl has to sleep, so I am watching for her. She says she has no idea how she will possibly sleep knowing airfare could be available. I am still keeping my fingers crossed for decent airfare. Good luck to all!!!!!!

Yep! I am looking for air for the 5 of us 4/19-4/29.

We are taking our first cruise & then a few days at the world. (the kids don't know about the wdw part!) If the air is too high we are driving.

Ick, us too. Actually I would be willing to cough up the airfare, it's just that rental car throws it over the top. Unless the fares are super low, we are drving. That should be a reality show with my 4 kids, but the camera man wouldn't fit in the car.

We have driven before but I prefer to fly. Since we are doing the cruise 1st, having our own car would save on the costs of getting to the port & back, so it does have its benefits. Just not relishing the idea of being the car for 20 hours with my 3 kiddies!

Actually the really cheap seats with direct flights from busy airports do get sold out within an hour.

All the promotional, internet and discount fares are all being combined into one column. Each flight will show the lowest price available. A range of prices is shown under the title of the column.

I'm so nervous about booking I can hardly stand it. The rates are so high for other airlines for Easter week. I hope SW has some good fares!
