Anyone else waiting for jetBlue to release April 2008?

April has been there for awhile as I am constantly checking for my dates (April 2-13).

I took the Airtran route too. We flew with them two years ago and they were fine, so when I saw direct flights, BOS-MCO, down on Sat 4/19 and back on Fri 4/25, for a few hundred less than my very limited max budgeted, I took it. I even got seats reserved together in the front of the plane.

Thanks for waiting with me all of you. I hope you all succeed with the reservations too! See you on the 'Who's going in April 08' thread.

Best Regards,
Skip

PS, Kritter, I'd book the one-way that works for you. We did it last time with Airtran, waiting for Jetblue and ended up booking two one-ways with Airtran, down and back, for much less than Jetblue could offer us. I do love Jetblue, but the budget is the budget.

I hope it happens soon for you all. I have followed this thread because we are travelling in March and I had intentions early on of waiting to try JB. I have heard such good things and DH recently flew them for work and really liked them. But I am a bad, bad waiter. So I jumped on Delta when they first came out. I have been waiting to see what the prices are on JB for my dates though to see how I compare. But my goodness, it is September and nothing for March yet? Gosh I bought my tickets in April!

Hope it is soon, crossing fingers and toes for all you fellow springtime travellers!

I too booked Delta as soon as they came out. I now see that AirTran has just added some cheaper flights (and theyonly fly one non stop from and to Portland Maine each day) so I could have gotten slightly cheaper flights through them. But I am pleased with my $308.10 each (rt total with taxes and fees) with Delta. The flights are connecting but the times fit our schedule better. We like sleep in and check out without hurrying to the airport. And DS is in his senior year in high school and will only miss half a day of school.

Hope JetBlue comes through for you all and soon. pixiedust:

I took the plunge and booke AirTran this morning. Got 124.00 down and 99.00 back. SO I jumped on it. Could nto risk anymore waiting for JetBLue will use JetBlue for my summer trip now.....

Lucky you, Airtran doesn't fly direct from Newark and I need to fly direct. I called Jet Blue last night and asked when they would be released and she told me probably not until late September. She also told me the reason they weren't released was they were waiting for confirmation from some airports. I really need this, all the other airlines are so expensive.

Any airport closer to you could use for AirTran great prices right now on their website??!!!!

If you don't mind sharing, which airport are you flying from? I'd love to be able to wait for Jet Blue but leaving it until Sept/Oct/Nov according to the various rumors is making me nervous!!

I just checked with LaGuardia in NY and it also came up with at least one stop, with 3 kids, my youngest just 2 I really need to fly direct. It stinks that there aren't more flights non stop, I mean its only 2 1/2 hours. I checked Continental and they want almost 400 RT per Person. If Jet Blue isn't better we just won't go this year.

We booked out of White Plains..check it out. Leaving 1:23 returning out of Orlando well leaving at 3:53..Good Luck.

White Plains is actually pretty far from me so that won't work. I really have to stop sweating this, if its meant for me to go we will otherwise we'll just wait a year. Not that I want to wait as we were there this past April but if its not Budget Wise we just won't go. Maybe I can save and then stay Deluxe. Trying to see the postive here if Jet Blue doesn't come through.

I am also trying not to panic waiting for the JetBlue dates for March! I took a look at AirTrans but flying from ROC is unpredicatable when you have to drive that time of the year. I have run into major snow storms flying out of SYR! I am going to sit tight and if JetBlue comes out with high fares we will consider driving! But it really makes me wonder if next year, I want to play this JetBlue waiting game! I wonder if they are aware of how many customers are booking on other flights because of their delay in releasing March/April dates? It may end up costing them in the long run!

I don't even know where that is, never heard of it lol. I think I need to look it up.

OK I got tired of playing this waiting game and took half a plunge! I just booked our return flight with AirTrans,We will leave MCO for Newburgh on April 18th ( four of us) for $457.I figured the $99 fare was good considering what it might change to if I held out and waited! Now I'll have to keep a vigil on the outbound flight fares!:goodvibes

I am still waiting...JetBlue is the only nonstop to Orlando from our airport. I dread seeing the price though as it seems the good schedules are always more expensive!
