anyone else waiting for December?

I'm waiting too, and we just returned from Disney Sunday night! Last December was my 1st holiday visit, and I've decided it's a must-do from now on! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Me Too!! Can't wait. We arrive on 12/17 and leave 12/22. I can hardly wait to see all those Christmas decorations and see the special Christmas shows. My DH thinks I am insane for already planning this when it is still so far away. We are going to Canada next month and he doesn't understand why I am not as excited about that trip. Don't get me wrong, I am very excited about Canada, but there is nothing to compare to a Disney vacation and this will be our first ever in Dec so I am doubly excited.

Add me too! :hyper: I arrive on 12/2, going to the luau at that night with some friends from Michigan (can't wait to see them again). Leaving on 12/7. Christmas is the best time of the year to go!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Count us in. DECEMBER 6 - 12 at POFQ.

Going in Dec as we always do. CAN WE ALL AGREE it is the best time to GO!!!!

We are going Dec. 18- 24 & we can't wait!! After feeding 20+ relatives last Christmas at our house with not one thank you or offer to help I said that's it - no more hospitality from me, we're going to Disney next Christmas. My husband readily agreed!! This will be our first year to visit at Christmas & we are so anxious to see the decorations. I know it will be a little more crowded than we are used to, but I'm sure it will be well worth it!:earsboy:

I cannot believe that!!!! You can bet if someone put in all that time and trouble, especially at Christmas time when lives are already so busy, that I would definatly be thankful!!

I do not blame you for wanting to spend your time at the happiest place on earth!!!!:Pinkbounc

I love going at christmas time!!! In fact we buy alot of our christmas presents there. Kills 2 birds with one stone, souveniers and christmas presents.

Have tons of fun!!!!!:sunny:

:earsgirl: :earsboy: princess: princess:

Popular dates! We will be there 12/2-7 as well, at CBR! Wish we could do the luau, but have to save some things for another trip...Hoping this becomes a tradition for us :earsgirl:

We will be at FW Dec. 16 - 23 and MVMCP on the 16th - Hopefully Cindy's on Dec. 20 for DD's birthday!

We will be there 12/2-12/16 and I can't wait!!!!

12/2-12/12 will be a family reunion with my parents and sister with her family. We are doing WDW and UO. We've done DL at Christmas, but not WDW. We are usually high season travellers, unfortunately (teachers!). DH is now in a year-round school, and he has from Thanksgiving through New Year's off! Can't wait to do MVMCP, and Grinchmas at UO!

12/12 we board the WONDER for our first Disney Cruise!!! It's the kids first cruise! We are taking my parents on the cruise with us!!!!! The cruise part of the vacation will be a complete surprise to the kids. I think with the excitement of seeing some of our east coast cousins, I can keep it from them clear until we drive to Port!!! LOL!!!

I know exactly what you mean. I'm not going till New Year's Day so that's even worse. When we went 2 years ago, my husband was ready to cancel the trip because he was so disneyed out by me. I just booked our plane tickets 3 days ago and have been going strong ever since. I just hope our marriage lasts till january!::MickeyMo

We'll be there December 4-11 at BWV. We're traveling with 4 other families--for a total of 22 people! Obviously we won't be doing a whole lot together; but we are planning some meals and maybe a GG event. It should be fun. We've all got pretty little kids (6 mos. to 6 years) so we do plan on some together time at the pool and such.:D

There needs to be a total count of who all is going? Lol It will be great.

I'm going on the 30th and staying through Jan 6th. It will be our first time down for the holidays but hopefully not our last!!!

To all of you that have been between Christmas and New Years...what is it like then? I know it's peak season, so I'm a little scared by that. We were looking to go the week after Thanksgiving, but things would be easier if we went the week after Christmas. Especially since we both will have that week off automatically.

Is it terribly crowded? I'm guessing there will be no AP rates then either... :(

Any info. would be great! ::yes::

Me too!!! We're going 11/27 thru 12/5 and this is our first time at
WDW during the holidays and we have tix for MVMCP on the 2nd.
I've become disney obsessive and think about it daily!!:bounce:
I would wish my summer away if the next 203 days would go by quicker.....I'm worse than my child!! I can hardly wait!!!!!

I hear ya...I wish it would go by quickly. As far as the Christmas through New Years. This is the Holliday season. What does this mean. It is the busiest time of the year. THat is why they can charge a regular room that would cost 199 at peak and make it be 325 + for this season. They know people will come and people will pay. But if it is the only time you can go.. I think you will be able to see and do the attractions..just remember one thing... Fast Pass!!!

Will be there From Dec 4th thru Dec 11th mvmcp Dec 9th Stayin at pofq
Cant it be dec now my son said yesterday I wish Counting down every day on the calender at home

:bounce: We will be there December 9 - December 19. Can't wait. :bounce:
Planning the trip and the anticipation is half the fun for us,

well maybe not half, but we do have a great time planning and getting everythig ready. :cool1:
