I've an order with Amazon.co.uk but the item is coming over from America (nothing interesting I'm afraid, just a book for DD), it's due the week, but it's been on order for about 6 weeks, I just hope it comes soon

Well funny you should ask Susan, I had an email fom Amazon yesterday to say my order was going to be delayed by 2 weeks, but when I got home from work today, it has arrived

Placed my order for my Xmas present last Monday and it arrived on Friday (standard post)

Placed another order yesterday and they despatched it today (standard post)

I've ordered loads in the past few weeks and they've ALL come within 2 days EXCEPT the Swansea Monopoly I want for my sister. After waiting 2 weeks, I got an e-mail to say it's been delayed by 2 weeks!

Unfortunately if it does take that long, we shall have been to Swansea to deliver all the presents so I'll have to post it. I'm seriously considering cancelling.

I know how annoying this can be. Last Christmas I paid my £1 to secure the future delivery of the recent Harry Potter book. Not only did it turn up 3 days after release which was very annoying as some people had already finished it but was about £5.00 more than Tesco.
This Christmas I must say everything has come on time.
You can always e-mail them to chase your order, just in case.

Have had estimated dates increased then reduced suddenly! Still waiting for one delivery estimated as Nov 23rd to Dec 8th and another for Dec 6th to 8th, hoping they arrive soon!

I've used Amazon for years and they have always been really reliable, I do laugh when they send you an e-mail to say that your item has been dispatched but you've already received it

I suspect you are referring to an order for the new Brits Guide ?
If so, then yes, I am also waiting....I think they told me its going to be another week

I ordered some xmas presents a few weeks ago and they were meant to have been despatched on 29th November with an estimated delivery date of 2nd to 5th December. I am now worried it has gone astray.

Judging by the amount of replies to this question I suspect they could be overloaded. If I don't hear tomorrow I will e:mail them.

Received all my orders luckily. Not getting the Brits Guide yet but I know I've got the WDW Trivia Book off a friend as he ordered with Scott to save himself the postage costs.

I have not ordered anything within the last week, but did order some video tapes from the US late November and they arrived within 2 weeks.

I usually find amazon very quick and reliable, however for the most of this year I've been trying to get a WDW book (what else!) from them but they seem to take my order then tell me its unavailable. I re ordered in October and had a delivery date of this next week, but now they're saying its despatch date is into January.

As this is for me it doesnt really matter, but they've really annoyed me today as I've had one of the elusive Pink DS on order for some time with a delivery date ending tomorrow. All along my account has stated 'This will be delivered in time for xmas' but when I checked this morning it showed it will be delivered after xmas!! How can they do this? I thought I was safe and didn't have to hunt anymore. I've just ordered one from ebay stores to come from Hong Kong, they have stock and its costing about £20 more than here, but worth it for the peace of mind!

I am worried that my order has gone somewhere else. I have now e:mailed them to ask where my stuff is. The money has gone out I assume and I have three presents on this order one of which is a game for £40, a game for £30 and a Mcfly DVD and calendar for my neice. Perhaps the Mcfly stuff was too irresistible and has been stolen!!!!!

I hope I hear tomorrow. I also have another order which gives me an estimated delivery date of 23rd December and I am not holding out much hope on this one.

Have you had a dispatch email or not? About two years ago a DVD player went missing eroute to me and as soon as I contacted them they checked up and reordered it for me. I must ahve made about 40 or 50 orders now and this is the only one not to actually arrive.
