I've just started looking in to Volumetrics as a way to lose weight. It's not really a diet, but a way of eating healthier. The basic concept is to eat foods with a higher water weight content, rather than "dry" foods.

Just wondering if anyone else is following this plan and if so, what tips do you have. I'd love to find some recipes for the whole family too.

TIA! :goodvibes

I've read volumetrics and this is definately how I try to eat. I'd much rather have huge serving of food than a little tiny bit.

One good example is
would you rather eat a whole cup of grapes or a 1/4 cup of raisins.

I think this is a good book for all people looking to lose weight. It just opens your eyes to choosing foods that have more volume for the calories. Low density foods vs. high density foods.

Yup! :thumbsup2 I'm just starting out and am learning as I go. I should be getting the book this week in the mail. But the overall concept is so "common sense" that I really like it. :thumbsup2
