How about Kansas and Chicago, Journey, REO SpeedWagon, CheapTrick, I remember being a Junior in H.S. in 1978 and being disappointed with the new Fleetwood Mac Album.

I thought it was so cool when my boyfriend (Now husband) had a 8 track tape player and then he put in a cassette player in his 1970 Chevy Chevelle.

I lived on a army base in Canada and If I remember right it was .25 during the day to get in and .50 at night

Oh I love CCR. I think it's a sign of getting old when you hear the stuff you like on the oldies station. I'll still take classic rock from the 60's,70's and maybe early 80's over anything being played today.
