Good evening!

I have just a week till my WDW trip, and I'm suffering from a severe case of funny excited tummy!

Those little things start it off. Like tonight, I was watching "The X Factor", and they mentioned next Saturday's semi-final. I thought "I'll be in Orlando next Saturday!".

That started my tummy off again!

My trip is the first thing I think of when I wake up in the morning. I start thinking about all the wonderful things I have to look forward to, my tummy goes again, and then there's no way I can get back to sleep.

Similar to many things in life, the anticipation of the event is almost as wonderful as the event itself.

But then I can be rather stupid and feel sad about coming home before I've even left!

It's like when the park hours for January went up on the Disneyworld website. I did feel a moment of sadness and think "my trip will be over by then".

Does anyone else experience similar emotions?

 wish i was going!!!
but i know what you mean about the excitement, i still start feeling sick when i think about our forthcoming holiday even though were not going until august!! you'll have a wonderful time  :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

I know what you mean. My BF has started to get it (yay!), but for me it's more that feeling of, 'I can't believe that we're going . . . I can't believe that we'll be on the plane on Wednesday . . . I can't believe it's nearly here!'.

Hey Minnie, i know that feeling only too well! i'm off to stay at my local airport hotel tomorrow afternoon (so we don't have to get up at stupid o'clock on Mon morning  ), then fly to MCO, i haye flying but i know it's he only way i'll get there and so i force myself.

The upset tummy, i have started thinking of this as the butterfly effect! Ha Ha!

I always feel all that you feel. I look forward to my holiday for over a year and the week before feel so nervous and ill. I too am afraid of flying so I know this does not help.

I know you will have a great time and there is always that next trip to plan when you get back.

Have a great time.

I always feel sickly for about 4 days before we go and a couple before we come back. You know when i have been to an airport.

I am the same Rob, a sort of excitement with a few nerves too.

I know exactly what you mean. It's that feeling I always used to get on Christmas Eve when I was a kid. I still get excited about Christmas but not as much. My excitement now is usually reserved for at least a few weeks before our holiday.

We're not going into next October and I still get a little twinge of excitement every now and again, when I think about it.

Hope you have a great trip :)

I know exactly what you mean minnie, we're off in two weeks but I'm not suffering with a funny tummy, it's the wierd dreams that I'm getting that seem to wake me up everyday around 4.30am

Nevermind, cos its blooming exciting !!! :)

Yes, I know what you mean too....I am getting those butterfly, excitement flutters in my tummy. It's a great feeling;) I'm getting the now as I type....roll on next Monday!
Mandy I have started with the weird dreams too, unable to sleep all the way through. It's got to be down to excitement! LOL

I always get really excited, but think it's doubled this time because it's around Christmas as well. I can't get my head around planning for both at the same time. :)

Oh my goodness yes! I get the sicky excited feeling every time.

The really sad thing I do when shopping is when I see a best before date which is weeks or months in the future and think "Oh I will be in Orlando then!" which always gives me a rush of excitement :)

I had exactly that feeling before I went, I couldnt concentrate on anything else! :crazy2:

Now I just have sad tummy because the holiday is all over!

I have just over a week to go to and I have had the funny excited tummy for ages!!!

keep having dreams about disney to, my life is just all about disney right now its great!!!!!

:sunny:  :sunny:

Not sure if my "funny excited tummy feeling" is due to my trip or the Chinese buffet I had on Friday :)

I always get this a few days before we go, I actually feel quite ill on some occasions....glad I'm not the only one!! :rotfl:

OMG! thats just how I am feeling. We go on Thursday although we leave Wednesday and stay overnight in hotel at Gatwick airport. I thought I was getting a tummy bug!! I was just sitting here thinking when the next XFactor is on I too will be over the water!! Funny how we all think alike - do you think the DIS is cloning us!! :goodvibes

Ha ha it could be possible.

We're travelling down to Manchester on Friday and staying in an airport hotel, and fly 10.25am on the Saturday morning.

I'm now seriously in "this time next week we'll be..." mode. As for the tummy, it's getting worse and worse!
