Anyone else still trying to get FD for Fall 2013?

We booked our trip to WDW a long time ago. We booked at POR RGR with the DDP. It is all paid for. When FD came up, we called hoping to get the FD and a credit to our account but there weren't any POR rooms available with the FD option. We have been calling and checking online ever since and still no luck. I have read other's success stories and we are staying hopeful that we will get FD and get a nice credit on our credit card so we can have a bit more money to spend while we are down there (i.e. to pay for BBB). We are also trying to remember though that regardless of whether we get the FD or not, we are still going to WDW and our girls are going to LOVE the RGR at POR!!

How is everyone else doing? Still trying? Checking daily?

Did you try getting the room discount? At least it would be something.

I'm still trying like crazy but I am having no luck. I had our TA move us to POP because the only FD I could get in a moderate was for CBR and I just wasn't interested. But I was just doing some looking and with a RO discount at POFQ and adding dining, it would only be about $100 more than if we stayed at POR with free dining. So now I'm thinking about doing that... My TA is going to kill me.

Yes but because we booked so long ago (back in 2012), it doesn't help us. We'd actually end up paying more with the room discount!

I have read on other threads that people w/ booked vacations wrote to Disney saying how disappointed they were that they didnt receive FD when they booked a while ago and someone actually got it by writting the email. they said they received a phone call and it was applied to thier account. If i happen to see the thread I will post it here for u.
Try giving that a shot. wishing you luck

Thank you. I tried that route too and it didn't work. I'll keep trying but I won't hold my breath. We are going regardless and we are going to have an amazing time!!

Probably in November, right? It seems like November keeps opening up and some weeks in December but not in October.

We were lucky to get a room at POR 11/23-11/30 with FD, but now our friends want to join us there and we are having no luck for that week. There have been a few rooms pop up at other resorts but we would all like to be at the same place. Fingers crossed something will pop up for those who are still looking!

I'm still trying to get POR for our time (regular room, not RGR), we'll be there 12/12 - 12/22. I've found it for the 13th - 19th but not the whole time. I can't seem to talk DH into spending the extra on an RGR room. We did switch to CBR when free dining came out so we have FD, just not the resort we want.

Wdwgirl- Yesterday it was online at about at 11 and was there for almost an hour. I had given up on POR and checked it on a whim and it was there. Today I checked it at 845 and it was there.
