Anyone else still have school part of this week?

DD gets off at 12:05 on Friday, and she goes back on Jan 9th. Today she starts an hour later because the teachers have their Holiday breakfast.

My kids have school all week and then break through Jan 2.

My dd12 has school till Wed. at 12:30 then goes back on Jan.5. some of the area schools got out on Friday.

My kids go until Thursday (which a half day) then go back after the New Year.

Our kids go Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. We originally had off Thursday but it was a built in "inclament weather make-up day" and we had a snow day a few weeks ago.

Exactly the same here in Cecil County Maryland. (Where are you in MD?)

DD at University of Maryland has her last 2 exams on Wednesday then she can come home.

Our school still goes today and tomorrow!! It's hard for me and youngest DS to get up and get ready when college son is sleeping soundly in his bed!!

My mom, sister, and stepsister go all the way through Friday. Not sure when they go back; I didn't pay attention, since I came home from college last Monday and don't go back until Martin Luther King Day .

My guys have school today and tomorrow, then they start their break. The next couple of days will pretty easy for younger DS, but older DS is in high school and has final exams - two today and two tomorrow. Yuck. It was a rough weekend at our house, studying for four finals. I'm ready for some Christmas spirit.

Thursday is the first day of "winter break" around here.

My kids have school until Dec 23 and then they do not go back until Jan 9.

2 full weeks is what they always get for Christmas break.

I'm amazed at the number of schools that don't get 2 full weeks off. We have always had a Winter Break with 2 weeks off around the holidays. Do some of your school districts take a week in February?

We have school through Thursday and go back on January 9.

Well, I'm a college student and I've been off since December 9th.

My sister is in 7th grade though and she goes straight through until Friday and then goes back to school January 3rd.

My kids have school all week, then have off until January 3rd. We also get a week in Feb and a week and a half at Easter. Last year they had 2 full weeks at Christmas and I almost lost my mind, lol!!!!

We get out for our "holiday break" at 215 on Thursday. We usually would go Friday, but our school finally got some sense knocked into them and we are off. Friday is our holiday ball and usually we have school that day and the people going get out at like 11:16. This year we get the whole day off!!!

We have school all the way until Friday, which is a half day.
It's ALWAYS been that way here-we go until Dec 24th(unless that falls on a weekend in which case it's the Friday before), and always come back on Jan 2nd..or the Monday following if it falls on a weekend.

I was surprised that people were off already!
