anyone else single digit dance

After planning and planning, we arrive at Old Key West on the 13th. Really looking forward to it as it includes six of us with our son and his family. The granddaughters are getting excited as yu can imagine.

We're staying until the 30th.

Not doing the single-digit dance as much as the single-digit panic...

One of our cats got very sick last month, and had to be put down. It really put a damper on our planning for this trip - it was DD10's cat, and only six years old.

Anyways, so the stuff I would have done weeks ago is still not done, nevermind the stuff that needs to be done now!

So, my "dance" is more like this: as I try to get weeks' worth of stuff done in a few days.

We are starting our drive down on lucky Friday the 13th! Hope to check into Pop Century early on Saturday and then head straight to MGM.

anybody else wish it wasn't "single digit"?? i am packing today to leave tomorrow.....can't help but think (now anyway), it'll be here so fast now....and over that quick ........i want it to be here, but i don't want it to be over. at least last week, i still had the anticipation of looking forward to it....now, it's here (i'm excited, but bummed cuz it's here and almost over!!) anyone else feel excited and sad at the same time??

I can't believe it's finally here!!!!!!! I just hope the weather cooperates since this is our FIRST Summer trip! I also pray for not too crazy crowds.

Hopefully, TS Bonnie and Hurricane Charlie won't put a real damper on our trip!

Hubby and I are trying to figure out where we'll be when we meet up with Charlie - we're leaving Saturday to drive down, mostly RT 95, and we think we'll meet up with the hurricane somewhere near the Carolinas...
