Anyone else share their email account with their spouse?

My husband and I have shared our primary email for as long as we've had internet service (1990? I think?)
We both have a work email address too although neither one of us use those email accounts outside of work.
We really didn't know any better when we did it, we created one account for ourselves and our dd to use. LOL, not so surprisingly as soon as dd got old enough to email much herself she created her own account and left dh and I to ourselves. And that's the way we've stayed ever since. We even both access the same account on our Iphones.
I doubt we'll ever change it either since it's always worked to well. Of course we have a lot of respect for each other and we don't open emails that we know are intended for the other.
I always thought we were the only ones doing this until I read an article tonight that mentioned lots of couples are doing the same thing. I was really surprised and it made me wonder if this is common or not...

Yup, my wife and I have always shared the same email account.

I did set up her own account once, but she never used it. Having only one account works for us.

my parents do this... but my mom is the main one who uses the email. my dad is not very internet savy.

We've always shared an email address and that's the one that friends and family uses.

I also have 2 junk mail addresses and dh has a junk mail address and a work address.

i have an e-mail account, which i share with DH when he needs to order something online. other than that, he doesn't use the internet at all.

I have a few friends who do and I don't think it is abnormal. My DH and I had our own e-mail accounts long before we met each other. We just kept it that way too. Then again we also each have at least 3 accounts that we use regularly, so I couldn't imagine us sharing at this point.

We share an account. I have a junk account for things like registering for websites like this but I don't ever send anything out of that account.

We have shared for years - I try very hard not to read anything that comes to DH ... he reads EVERYTHING, I have no secrets ... If I want to surprise him with a gift I have to phone to order it. DH hates secrecy so it's better this way ... he thinks it's crazy that I try so hard not to read any mail sent to him ...

I worked as a secretary for 2 years and the hardest thing I had to do was to read my boss' emails ... felt like I was invaing his privacy ... he couldn't understand why it made me uncomfortable ....

DFiance and I share an account for certain things: bank emails, disney emails, etc. But we both have our own accounts for emailing friends, parents, registering for a store's email (okay, only I do this, haha), and what not.

It works out well.

We share an email address . We always have at home.

DH has a work email that he uses for work...our home email is used for everything else.

We have separate accounts, but full access to each others email, facebook, etc. My wife keeps getting mixed up and uses my facebook & email often.

we are a multiple email house.

1. main address we do share - used by family, school, banking, etc.

2. i have 2 yahoo and 1 gmail accounts that i use for various things

3. he has a yahoo and a gmail account, plus a work account.

4. the girls each have their own gmail account too.

we can access each other's side accounts if necessary. I had to move amazon off the shared email so i could order birthday/father's day presents.
