Anyone else see " Greenland" yet?

We watched it over Christmas weekend...

We really enjoyed it... I love Gerard Butler, and I think this was a really great performance... DH enjoyed it which says alot... we both felt it was pretty powerful, and made you think.... I don't want to give away anything...

This movie put's into perspective what can happen to people in a time of crisis... how people act and react during chaos, and what they will do to protect and care for their family... just how far they are willing to go to do that...

I am not watching anything but fluff until Covid is history. I don’t want to think about any kind of catastrophe right now. I am getting enough of that in real life.

The only new movie I have been thinking about seeing is Soul, but I don’t have a good enough internet connection for streaming services, and won’t allow workers in the house to upgrade due to Covid. I did get some classic movie DVDs for Christmas, and have been enjoying those.

DH and I started out watching everything but the news... we have binged watched movies and whole series for the last 10 months, and re-watched old and new movies.. Neither of us could take another fluff or feel good movie... We thoroughly enjoyed it start to finish...

I am watching it now and Orlando just got destroyed.
I guess that's it for the Disney trip.

I think some are confusing it with another movie; definitely not fluff.
Its a disaster film with aspects that reminded me of current time worries.
Saw it in the last few days and although the plot had holes in it, I enjoyed it.
