Okay- we are going to SSR in less than a week and I am sooooo
very, very tired. With wrapping up school with my child, work and life issues all I really want is sleep. Would it be a waste just to sleep my vacation away at DVC?

And if some of you are going to be there the same time- I will be the person snoring at the pool. If by chance I fall asleep in the pool please drag me out.

Don't forget the sun screen, you can get a good burn if you fall asleep.:p Have fun:Pinkbounc

.........its your vacation.......do what YOU want.

I know how you feel - we just moved from Detroit to Phoenix two weeks ago, and our lives are so scrambled that the idea of flying to WDW and SSR this Saturday is just too much.

But I'm sure that, once we're there, the Disney rush will kick in - and maybe a few afternoon naps....

Of course the person who stays in the room after us will have an indent of where my body laid for 5 days without moving. I am apologizing in advance. ;)

I know what you mean, i have been getting things ready and when i go to bed at night my brain is still thinking of all the things that need to been done and its been sleepless nights, i dont know if i coming or going. i got a call from the orthodontist today, i was 30 mins. late for dd appt. yikes !

i know the night before i leave, i want to get up at midnight to print my boarding passes, i know whats going to happen........
i will sleep right thru :earseek:

Hey, no falling asleep in the pool! That could be a "bad thing." :(
You could try my favorite tiredness remedy...take your vitamins (especially vitamin b) and try an energy drink. ::yes:: As long as your doctor hasn't told you not to take vitamins or energy drinks....this even keeps my teenage son going....and he'd much rather be sleeping, even at WDW. :confused3 And you get the added bonus of not relying too much on caffeine.:yo-yo: :yo-yo: :yo-yo:

Our next trip will take place right in the middle of a big home remodeling. Boy, will we be happy to get away! Zzzzz...

Our trip next month ends on July 7th. We JUST got word that the new home we purchased is going to be available for move in mid-July.

When all of this happened in January (purchasing the new home), I just knew that this vacation was going to come back to haunt us.

We are settling on selling the home that we are in now the end of next week. I have not begun to pack (only the stuff packed away and in storage for "showings" of this house).

We leave June 18th to check in at BWV on the 20th for 17 nights. So we will not be back home until at least the 8th of July. Several of my sisters and a lot of nieces and nephews are coming down for the first week of the trip. I know that it will be a blast. I only hope that I can relax and have a great time on this vacation, cause when we get back, all heck will break loose for quite some time. I may be napping at the pool to save my energy for this big move we are making.

It is really stressful for me. I have enjoyed this home for so long, it is really going to be hard to leave it. But I know that the new house (that is twice the size of this one), is going to be incredible.

Vicki

If you can sleep on a bus/monorail I always got an extra nap in a couple of times a day!!

Hope you have a great trip.
