We are off again today as well. So that's it for the vacation! Unless, they make up on the teacher work days. They won't take away from Spring Break because everyone goes on vacation then!!! With summer school and other activities, etc. we have the week after school is out and the 3 days before school starts in August! I would think more people vacation in June than Spring Break. It's silly to be off for memorial day and then go on Tues. We have 3 Fridays off for in-service, let's use that...too bad parents don't get to vote.
DH is threatening to call the school board and tell them we have an extensive trip planned to Mexico, England, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Japan, China......EPCOT!!! That's more educational that the last week of play days of school, which is usually movies. They go til noon the last two days with exams on those days.
