I'm locked in a room with nothing but a glass block window. I'm a total July 4th party pooper.

. It's raining and blowing like crazy here so I'm not even sure there will be any fireworks tonight. Are you locked in room by your own choice?

Tonight we are just hanging out, the boys are tired from a full day of activities and lucky for me they can't read a calendar. Thats our thinking as well. My 14 year old even said theres no reason to go see the fireworks when we've been to Disney. When you have seen WDW fireworks, home town fireworks just don't thrill I guess.

We went to a neighborhood fireworks show on the other side of our town last year. One of the neighbors of my mom's friend has a brother that's well, a pyro. He puts on a show for that cul-de-sac every year. They're real fireworks, and were quite impressive at the start of the "show". He's apparently not actually licensed for that grade of fireworks though. The reason though that I quoted your post. He left the SUV that he'd used to tow the trailer of fireworks in the same field he was shooting them off from. Something happened and sparks from the fireworks landed on a whole bunch of mortars (sp?). Half the "show'' went off with one giant bang, complete with two bodies flying through the air as they dove for a ditch, and all of us spectators running as far away from that car as we could. The car was just inches from being hit by something, and they were just inches from death. So yes, the neighborhood fireworks thing now petrifies meADisneygirl said:You're not the only party pooper -- I am here with you.
