Getting a little frustrated with the folks at Disney...
Today marked my eighth phone call attempting to correct problems with our upcoming trip. A little background...We’re a family of five, all adults. Booked two rooms at Pop on the free dining bounceback last September. One is in my name, one is in my husband’s name as that is what they required when we booked in order to have two rooms (at least that’s what they said). Both reservations appear on MDE, three of us in one room, two in the other. Have never received a confirmation for my husband’s room, no itinerary emails, etc. Four of the phone calls were attempts to get a confirmation email. Finally gave up on that since all five of us appeared, had dining, and Fast Passes. Then the magic bands disappeared. Spoke to IT, refreshed the app, went incognito...soup, salad, sandwich...told me all would be right if I gave it a few days. That was early April. Then I got a call from the Magic Band Center...my son’s band couldn’t have “Star lord” for customization...copyright infringement. So I nixed that. Three days ago we got a box! Two magic bands for my daughters! Then we got another box today! Two magic bands for my son and myself. Hmmmm, someone’s band is missing. Called today...lovely cast member tells me we “declined” his band. Say what? Nope. We didn’t. So she tries to reach the “escalation team”, but they’re too busy at the moment - she’ll put in another ticket and I should get an email from them. I explained that despite confirming our email address a hundred million times, it’s unlikely we’ll hear. She ends the conversation with “I’m sure that last band is on its way...”. Anyone think we’ll get it? And maybe it won’t matter either way? Thanks for letting me toss this all out there!
