The only thing I plan out is what parks we go to on which days. I like getting to WDW and no know what we're going to do next. I think It makes the trip much more exciting. :teeth:

Anyone else agree?

I plan everything out a couple of weeks before the trip because I am so excited, but when we get there, we do whatever we feel like. It is so much more relaxing to do it that way. Ofcourse, if we want to do a certain park on a certain day, we follow UG somewhat.

Disagree...a lot. :)

Used to do that, plan which parks to be at which days, then did ONE touring plan and rode more rides by noon than we usually did in a day. I was sold.

We plan our mornings with a touring plan and the afternoons to be in the park which we're going to eat dinner and whatever we ride is a bonus. Basically, tour in the mornings, relax in the evenings.

Who are you, and what are you doing on this board???no planning?? :teeth:

just kidding with you... if that is what you enjoy!!

We are going during free dining and had to plan that, but also wanted to make sure we were not having dinner in a park that had EMH...so i did more planning than usual. We usually plan to partake/or avoid EMH and make sure to have a park for eachday... the rest of the week during the day is a free for all.. But know where we will be for dinner ;)

:wave2:

The only thing we do is make our ADR's. That's it. That's not really planning though because I make dinner reservations at home too.

Plan a bit - know what you want to do and plan your fastpasses! Don't go crazy with a minute - to - minute plan! But it will pay off to get your "must-do's" organized. If we hadn't we wouldn't been able to do Soarin' last summer.
And I agree with any eariler posting, plasnning is half the fun! :thumbsup2

We decide what park we are going to do the night before we go to the park....we don't really plan, but we have a general idea of what we are going to do before we ever head down to Disney.

My son and I decide which park we are going to when we walk out to the bus stop in the morning!!!! That is the extent of my planning.....after all I have to plan when I am teaching, I don't want to think when I am on vacation!!!!!

Add me to the do not plan list.
About the only thing my family does is make our advanced dinner reservations, that's it.
We love to play it by ear and just go with it. We might start our day at MGM, but end it at EPCOT.
I'm not one who makes and sticks to a plan. I'm not the type of person who likes to make a plan and then stick to it while on vacation. I'm there to have fun and do whatever I feel like.

We have been lucky enough to go 3 times so far, so now my boys know what they want to do again, and what they have never done and want to try. If it is a very popular thing, we do try to plan it out to get there early (sm, Soarin EE). They are old enough to appreciate getting FPs and returning later- they would rather skip the line and find something else to do. :thumbsup2

:wizard: Sometimes i wish i didn't plan so much coss i go WDW crazy. I'm thinking about our WDW trip most of the day and spend every spare minute on the Dis or other WDW sites :surfweb: . I plan everything, even what i am going to order at each restaurant/CS. I just cant help myself. You do save a lot of time when your there if you plan, but i do find myself getting stressed and worrying about if my touring plans will work etc.

:rotfl2: I really am starting to go planning crazy! :badpc:

I've never been much of a planner. We usually figure out which parks to go to ahead of time, and which rides we want to get fastpasses for. I've never made ADRs, but we usually go in January when there are very few people anyways.

I suppose this will all change when we have kids, and don't want to be walking all over the place. :)

the only plan i make is to either get on the first bus there or get in the shortest line,

We don't make a formal plan of any kind, mostly becuase we've been so many times (and it's usually for work!) that we don't really need a plan. But if we take family or friends from out of town we do make a general plan (which day/which park, dining).

I really like to 'let the magic take us' now. But when I was newer to the parks I planned like mad.

We don't even know which parks on which days. We just wake up and ask each other what we are in the mood for.

We usually just plan which park which day and usually one or two meals per trip. As far as other eating and rides we just do whatever sounds fun at the time. :thumbsup2

This time we are doing the dining plan so we have to plan a little more than usual since we have at least one ADR every day.

Alright guys.... I'm living on the edge here... :cool1:

I usually plan the first couple of days which park we are going to, and thats it. I know as a general rule which attractions to hit 1st, but its not planned. Also, I had to book dining so I know generally where I'll be around dinner time..

As far as living on the edge... :cool1:

This year we may take a day or two (after main touring is done) and go out to the bus stop and which ever bus is first thats where we'll go... Am I a rebel or what?? :teeth:

I might not even make my bed at Disney everyday either! :teeth:

:guilty: after previewing this post before posting I am realizing I need to get a life :guilty:

I only plan which park and going close to, for dinner ADR's. Other than that I do NO planning, we just take as comes. We not big ride people and I don't have get on rides to enjoy Disney. Just being there, and taking all that they have offer to good enough for us. I just want add, we live 4 hours away do go there offen.
