:surfweb: Anyone else who has today off who DID NOT rush out to shop this morning, like me???

Didn't need anything to warrant being part of the stampede! Most things I've ordered online or I will be picking up gift certificates locally. So I slept in, made french toast, and hopped on the Dis! :thumbsup2

ME! I never go shopping near Black Friday EVER and usually do most of my shopping online in my jammies! I couldn't ever stand to wait in the cold dark night for something that MIGHT still be in stock. No bargain is worth that to me at least!

Not a chance!

Order most things on-line and that which I don't, can wait!

It is good people watching time.... well in a horror movie type setting.

Mikeeee

DH went out..... to buy my presents since I'm the only person he has to buy for :rotfl: :rotfl:

I stayed home with our 2 girls and we're getting ready to set up the tree! :)

NOt me! Stayed home, chill out and begin the decoration process! :cool1:

Everyone is getting gift cards, except for my 2-year old niece. She's getting coloring books and a savings bond. DSIL says she doesn't need toys and she loves to color. We have to fly to see them so books are nice and flat.

We picked up all the gift cards on Wednesday evening. DH already ordered the savings bond. I just need to pick up some coloring books.

I didn't think the deals were worth getting up for this year.

We may go out later but not for anything on sale, only because I have the time to do some Xmas shopping and need to get some done. Other than that, we're decorating for Christmas at the house.

Nope, not this year. Sometimes I go, but didn't see anything I needed in the adds. When I do go, I always seem to buy so much more than what I went for, I'm such a sucker for what looks like a good deal! Much cheaper for me to stay at home! ;)

Nope, not out shopping either. Nothing I needed that early or worth fighting crowds for. :teeth:

Not me. But DD19 and DD18 got to Gamestop at 2 am this morning to wait for a Nintendo Wii. They were #7 in line and there were 8 Wii's available. Got it home and it doesn't work!!! :badpc:

Nintendo is shipping out another one but it'll be a few days. Five hours of waiting in the cold, but they're asleep now. Wish I could be but DD4 wants to put up Christmas decorations and DH is at work. :sad2:

I just remembered....I do need to get groceries from our Wal-Mart Super Center later today....do you think this is a crazy idea? Should I plan for long lines???? Oh my, I might indeed be apart of it all, just because we are in dire need of groceries!!!!

I'm still im my PJ's!!! DH just went to Circuit City for a deal we found on line but you could only purchase in the store. It was too good to pass up but we did sleep in had breakfast and still got the deal.

DH just called he found a DVD burner and a DVD recorder at an awesome price so he went to the store for one thing and is coming home w/ three. I am amazed at some of the deals- esp. electronics.

I'm staying home too. I know there are a lot of great sales today, but I just can't bring myself to fight the crowds. We are going to go see Deja Vu later today.

Nope, but I just ordered a king size down (and white feather) comforter for $18! It got 4 out of 5 stars on the customer reviews, so it can't be too bad.

Dh says he wants to go shopping later "just to get out of the house". LOL He's never been shopping on black friday before. I tried to tell him. :rotfl:

I'm working until 5:30 today...so no shopping for me!

However, I did get a few things off of toyrus.com for Maddy...that's it!

No shopping for me. I do most of mine online.

I do have to go to the grocery store though. I'm dreading it. Hopefully everyone will still be at the mall.

Not in the mood this year to battle those crowds! Went last year and it was not the most pleasant experience. I would rather sit at home in front of PC and shop after kiddos are asleep and have Mr. Postman bring everything to me! Besides, we are departing in 5 days :cool1: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cool1: to see Mickey and first time on DCL...12 days total! Soooo, my focus is on packing, not shopping...Santa will only be making a brief stop at our house this year, as the trip is the big gift to the kids anyway! Bye ~ ~ Suitcases are calling meeee....... :woohoo:

We have had a perfect morning at home here.

I went to Burger King and got everyone cini-minis and french toast sticks.

Then we watched the MGM, Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom holiday parades on DVD.

Now, I'm listening to Christmas music on Live 365.

The kids will be begging to put up the tree soon.
