Anyone else not into politics?

I see so many threads regarding Bush, Kerry and politics, which tells me there is a lot of interest and discussion going on. Am I the only one who doesn't like to talk about their views on politics and like to keep them private?

I am "into" politics. I do read some of the political threads. I very rarely add my .02. Those threads generally spiral downward very quickly with name calling and all sorts of negativity towards any and everyone with opposing opinions (both sides).

Not a good thing.

I'm VERY into politics. I'm usually just too annoyed or tired to type a long response to some of the heated political threads that are posted on this board.

Personally, I don't read the political threads anymore.

In fact, PinWizard, I wish we could get an Ignore button for political threads, they always turn into debate & bashing the other guy. I read a few & then just think Blah, Blah, Blah!!!

I totally stay away from them. I am not educated enough in politics to take on any of the people who contribute to those posts. LOL!!

I have read a few of them but they all turn into bashing rounds. Although, I am very opionated when it comes to politics and I definitely plan on voting on November 2nd, I do not feel as if I need to use these boards or any others to voice my opinion. And most of the time that is what you get, if you want facts or at least more detailed information you will have to visit other sources.

I follow it and have my opinions and tried a couple of times to try to chime in as a reasonable voice. But some of the ones I have seen lately have just degenerated into name calling. It's not worth the time and effort to respond. Besides as much as we all love these boards and want everyone to contribute the actual number of regular posters are not enough to sway any national election so lets just let the few diehards punch it out and enjoy the other topics.
