Anyone else not getting through to MS this morning??

I called at 9 on the dot and it went straight to the recordings and prompts...then it just rings and rings. I tried their local 407 number several times and the 800 number and never got through. I did this for 15 min. UGH

No I was on with them on Christmas eve trying to do a modification and could do part of it that day but she told me to all on Friday at 9:00 to do the rest. grrrr I want to get this done now.
 
I knew if I came here that at least I'd have some people to hang out with while I waited for someone to answer the phone. :goodvibes
 

I thought it was just me at first. I'm out in CA, so it's only 6:40 here. Are you all just letting it ring, or repeatedly hanging up and dialing again?:surfweb: :mad: :rolleyes1
 
I just spoke to someone at Member Administration. She told me that the problem is that so many members are trying to make reservations for next Thanksgiving that the phones are jammed -- we're not even able to get in the queue. Like you, I called right at 9:00am, and this is just very hard to believe. :confused3 Even on the first day of AKV reservations I was able to get into the queue. I was also told that this was the second call she'd had about that this morning. Her advice was to keep trying.

Unbelievable! :scared1:

Anybody out there gotten through this morning?
 
USE PROMPT 2...I did just to see if it worked and I got a really nice girl named Chloe and she took care of me and was extremely nice. GOOD LUCK.

YES I let it ring for forever for the 15 min. straight I was calling and then I came on here and tried again about 15 min. later then I got the idea to see if the other choices worked...like 2 or 3. I chose 2 and when I explained to the girl she said "oh I can help you". SO I thought that was nice of her. I had some complicated steps too and she did it with no problems and was very nice.
 
I just got through shortly after 7am pst (10am est) -- followed the usual prompts, no waiting, got my reservation done. I just think they didn't open until 10am on this morning after Christmas... :confused3

I'd like to think it was just that I'm so tired from Christmas and that's why I kept trying only option "1", since, duh, I could have tried getting a live person at Member Administration. :headache: More likely I'm such a rule follower that I just kept pressing "1" and calling again...::upsidedow

Anyway, I just got through the old fashioned way, via option "1", and when I told the lady I got about the whole endless ringing thing, she said they can monitor call volume and it didn't show anything out of the ordinary.:confused3

Well I thought " I am going to try the other choices to see if I get a person to explain what was happening" so I went with choice 2 next and explained and she was so nice and just said " I can help you". YIPPEEE. Well I am glad it is working now. WHEW!!!!!
 
This is the combination of MS being closed for Christmas holidays and now those trying to get through who would have called then, plus the 11 month window now for next year's Thanksgiving holiday bookings.

Good luck to those waiting to get in, at least you can chat here and listen to those great Disney Tunes!
