Oh my are they ever YUMMY! I had looked at the pics on these boards of them before we left for our 1st Disneyland trip and I knew they had to be on my list of foods to try while there and boy, did they NOT disappoint! YUMMMMMMMMMY! They were sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good dipping in mustard. Me and son had them with fries for lunch one day while in California Adventure and I wished we would have gotten it another time before we left. I had the pretzel dog at Wetzel's Pretzels and didn' care for them at all. I did like the normal pretzles though and the pizza pretzel from there. They had good lemonade too but.................Man were those corndogs in Cali Adventure GOOD! :scared1: If anyone has any pics to share as I forgot to take a picture of them, I would like to dream about them:cloud9: until my mouth/lips meet them again in 2010, LOL:rotfl:

I don't even like corndogs, but the Disney ones are to die for. My first experience was back in Oct 07 at DL, they are super yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Okay, where exactly in CA do I find these heavenly treats? I don't think I've ever had a DLR corndog, but now I want one!

Must have a hot link (spicy sausage) corndog on every trip.

You can only get the spicy ones in CA at the Corndog Castle, in the Paradise Pier area across from the Golden Zypher.

Regular hotdogs can be found in DL at the Red Wagon at the end of Main Street next to the Photo Supply.

Also a tip, they automatically come with a bag of plain potato chips, but if you don't want the chips, just let the cast member know and they will decuct $1 off the price.

or you can get apple slices instead....

The only time I ever eat a corndog is at DL. Normally we get into the park at about lunch time on our first day and we grab corndogs from the red cart. I've never had the spicy ones but I'm surprised since we spend very little time in DCA.

We go to Disneyland quite often and I had never heard of the fantastic corn dogs until our recent trip June 20-24! I really do not like corn dogs in general, but I can't wait to try this delectable treat again. It is so good! I will definitely have one during our September trip! Yum!:thumbsup2

In California Adventure, it was The Bountiful Valley Farmers Market. They were just soooooooooooooooooo darn good! I'm craving one right
now:sad1: That is why I'm hoping someone will post some pics so I can live my corndog craze online, until I return in 2010 to eat it again;) They were HUGE and the batter on them tastes so good and they were cooked JUST RIGHT:thumbsup2 My daughter had a chicken ceasar salad from there too and she LOVED it! The fries were equally tasty as well. My hubby had chicken fingers and he enjoyed them too! It is a place we will return to eat when visiting Disneyland and California Adventure. For a counter service, it was AWESOME! We ate on little covered picnic tables which was a WELCOME sight because it was a very hot day that day and that was the day that Disneyland closed because they were sooooooooooo crowded. That is why we were in California Adventure was because it was soooooooooo crowded in Disneyland that we couldn't stand it and went to Cali Adventure. It actually was much more pleasant. That is where we learned the news that Disneyland had reached MAXIMUM capacity. I'm glad it did on that day, LOL That is what led us to those GREAT CORNDOGS :) :) I wished I would have taken a pic. Oh well, someone please post some pics of these corndogs so I can get my fix in:laughing:

Oh yes! That's what I am talking about....the corn dogs from the Farmer's Market! I just had gallbladder surgery and still was eating no fat/low fat food. However, once I took a bite of that corn dog, it was goodbye low fat and hello corn dogs.... it was worth every bite! :cool1:

My DH & I shared one coming back from the fireworks. It was good & hit the spot but it was kind of pricey. It was good, I just might buy one again.:surfweb:

Oh my goodness, they are the best corndogs in the world!!! With all this talk about corndogs, I really want one now!

PLEASE....................get some corndog pics for all of us DISNEY CORNDOG LOVERS OUT THERE:banana: All this talk and no pic is driving me crazy:lmao: Or maybe I don't want to see a pic because then I will REALLY want one right away, LOL:worship:

I love the corn dogs! I recently went to Disneyland before Corn Dog Castle closed, and it tasted so good! Yum.

OMG....NO!!!!....Corndog Castle closed??

Sure hope the Farmers Market has the spicy ones.

For some reason the times I've remembered to take a picture has been times when my corndog was cooked a bit longer than usual. Still yummy though.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE PIC:worship::worship: What great memories:yay: That will hold me until we return once again to enjoy that lip smacking CORNDOG-oh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cheer2:

Hooray! Corn dog lovers of the DIS unite!!!

Unfortunately, for the hotlink corn dog fans out there, the Bountiful Valley Farmers Market only sells the regular corn dogs. I was there last weekend and bought a regular corn dog from the Farmers Market before watching the Electrical Parade. It's a great pre-parade meal. ^_^

Oh man, add me to the list. :) :lovestruc

I am super duper in love with the hot link ones from DCA. I really pray that when they reopen Corn Dog Castle (or whatever the new name will be) they have hot link ones. I'm sad that they don't have hot links at the Bountiful Valley Farmer's Market right now. :(

what would a trip to DL be without my beloved Corn Dog, hands down the best I've ever had!

OMGoodness! Look at all that crunchy batter deliciousness. I can't wait to eat one. Only 25 more days. Dh will be disappointed about the spicy ones not being served right now, I got him excited about that.

I do not think I can wait until our September trip! I must avoid this thread or I just might take a six hour drive to get one! :moped:

I wonder if they will give away their recipe? What brand of hot dogs and how they make the batter?
