Just wondering if anyone else who has been to Liberty Tree Tavern enjoyed it as much as me. I'm a big fan of colonial history so I love the atmosphere and the set-up of the inside. It for some reason has been my favorite place to eat in Disney since 9 years ago when I first went to Disney.

I am a big history buff too. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. My DH, LOVED the place. More due to the food than the atmosphere though. :goodvibes

Our family really does love it for lunch. Dinner...not so much. We enjoy the different historically themed rooms. I think we have eaten all the different rooms at least once. We even bought eight of the glass mugs to take home with us as a reminder. We keep them in the freezer to frost them for cold beverages.

I love the family style meals there. I didn't go there for so long because I used to go with a group of friends and our families and they didnt care for LTT, so last year I said screw this and booked reservations to it and made them all go..LOL. I was very pleased with the food and the atmosphere. The servers were very nice and it was a great experience.

I would also like to add that I tried to Rose and Crown Pub (i think that's the name) in England in epcot and it was amazing. Definately a must try for anyone who visits epcot.

LTT is THE must do restaurant for DH and me. We always have lunch at least twice per trip, sometimes more

I really love their finger foods as apetizer !!! Well, now I am starving :rotfl:

All their entrees are delicious and the atmosphere is really nice !!!

I am a LTT addict !!!

Btw, do you know when the refurbishment is supposed to be finish ?

Same here lol. What does DH stand for?

DH = Disney Husband or Dear Husband (or if he's in the doghouse you can use another "D" word that I can't type here!).

We LOVE Liberty Tree Tavern! We eat there for lunch on our MK day every trip. I just made my ADR this morrning for October's trip. My DH does miss the birch beer they used to serve. And I love the pot roast! But they changed the veggies it in - it used to be french fried onions but last time (2008) they had sauteed veggies on it. Still delicious!

My group likes lunch here. Dinner, nope. We don't do buffets or AYCE, we would rather do a menu selection dining, so lunch works great.

Not only do I love LTT for the food, we also have had some of the best family memories there.

When my DH and I planned our Disney vacation, my mom asked me specifically "Are you going to LTT? Because they have the best bread... and the best servers!"

We love it too, but this time we are not going to go only because we want to try something else~Tonys~hope we aren't making a mistake....

Every time we go, we always start in Magic kingdom and this year everyones choice for our first meal is LTT. Love the atmosphere and the food, the service has always been great too!:cool1:

We're trying it out for lunch for the first time on our last day. The appetizers look good!

We also booked Tony's for dinner one night (also doing LTT for lunch though) and hope we didn't make a mistake. We want to give them a second chance because our last meal there two years ago was not so good.

We love it! It has always been our 1st TS dinner everytime we have been to Disney. However, we do have them put Ranch dressing on our salad, instead of the Tavern Strawberry Vinaigrette dressing.

From what I have read there are mixed reviews of dinner, part of which are based on the removal of the characters. Some folks were willing to accept the food at dinner because of the character interaction. Now, without characters, not so much. It still seems to be pretty popular though, as it offers straightforward "American" food and a lot of it.

There were a few rumors going around that WDW was going to return characters to Liberty Tree dinner because bookings had fallen off dramatically. However, the characters returned only temporarily to stand in for Crystal Palace while it was closed for refurbishment, so it's not certain there was any fact behind the rumors.

LOVE LTT! My DH is a history teacher, so of course we have to go here. On our last trip, we booked the first lunch reservation available and our DD who was 4 at the time got to ring the bell to open the restaurant. I'm not sure if that was just part of the "Dreams" promotion or if it's a regular thing they do. She loved it and we have some great pictures. It's on our list for our trip this December for sure.

We're the same, lunch is great, Disney buffets other than Boma are disapointing.
