I'm going back and forth on what to pack to wear? People tell me to bring things to layer but I looked at the weather for next week Dec-10 -Dec 16 and the highs are don't seem cold [for Florida] at all. If you're going next week, what would you pack?

Here's a link to the 10 day weather forecast for next week.

We head down Saturday afternoon, and we'll be bringing shorts and t-shirts, one pair of jeans, a sweatshirt, and probably a long sleeve t-shirt. We're just there until Wednesday night, and very excited about the forecast!!

We don't check in until 2 weeks from tomorrow & we'll stay for 7 days.

I'm packing:
3 pairs of jeans for each person
1 pair of black pants/jeans for each person (to wear to nicer dinners)
sweatshirts
hats & gloves (just got matching for the entire family at the Disney store)
sweaters (we have matching Mickey Christmas sweaters)
fleece jacket for each of us (we have matching Mickey ones)
2 pairs shorts for each person
t-shirts (both short & long-sleeved)

**I'm going to be prepared for anything & everything. I know the evenings will be cold.

We're going the 12th-16th and I haven't started to pack yet or anything. I'm just going to keep checking the weather. If the weather holds, it looks like it should be in the 70s. I think? I was hoping for at least 1 day that it might warm enough to swim because my son loves swimming and it's freeeeeezing here now! :)

I'm thinking layers. T-shirts and jeans or workout pants. (I'm not a shorts person). And then sweatshirts for nights.

I'm so excited!!!!! I want to leave right now!

To me, it can get pretty chilly around that water at night. I have brought layers of clothing. Also, cuddle duds to wear under my clothes at night when it's cold feel pretty good. Have a great time.

As a local, I can tell you the daytime highs have fallen from the 80's now into the 70's -still very comfortable, and still short/t-shirt weather for a lot of people. However, that being said, the early morning hours (7-maybe 9) are cold -they hit the 40's here the other day, and the nights are landing in the 50's and lower in some areas. To me, that's cold, but I'm not used to the northern winters anymore. Most guests I talk to find that comfortable.

and very excited about the weather. It's snowing here in Northern VA LOL. I've started packing and think I'll be taking shorts/tee shirts, some jeans, pull over hooded sweatshirt (for early morning/late evenings) ok, I'm even packing gloves LOL. I think layer type of clothes will be best. Got the swimsuits though! Kids are excited to go swimming! Hope to get some sun and come back home with a tan!! :thumbsup2

We leave Saturday the 8th! HURRAY!!:cool1:
I have gone back and forth on what to wear as well. I think after seeing different opinions and checking around, I am bringing all pants (jean and khakis) with all short sleeve shirts and some long sleeve and light weight jackets for the morning and evening hours. LAYERING is the way to go! Most of the time it's going to be cool. You have the morning hours and then it starts getting cool around 3pm. The low's have been starting around 3-4:30p everyday. So if your like us, during the heat hours we are in and out of shops and watching 3D shows and rides are mostly inside. I think you want to make sure you have something to keep you warm more so than worrying about getting to hot.

I hope the rest of you have a GREAT, magical trip as well!!:santa:

We are leaving for Disney this Saturday (Dec.8-15), and we are very excited about the weather. I am packing jeans and t-shirts for my family along with a few sweatshirts and lightweight jackets. Yes, you could probably wear shorts, but I figured the mornings and evenings will be chilly. I think my family and I will be comfortable in jeans. We live near Houston, Texas and are having about the same weather conditions as Florida. The upper 70s and low 80s is warm, but not too hot for jeans and a t-shirt.

Have fun packing!!!

We leave on Dec. 15th for 8 nights. I'm packing EVERYTHING....sweatshirts, ss shirts, LS shirts, pants, shorts, jackets, swimsuits....My brother works for Disney and this week is COLD...a high of like 60...(oooh..burr....in 60 degree weather, I would be out washing my car!)

Anyhoo, I would pack everything except the kitchen sink.

We're going tomorrow  through the 16th. I'm packing jeans for everyone; we're TX people so it will be cool enough for jeans for us  and I don't want to double pack pants. I'm then bringing short sleeved shirts and light jackets for later at night and early in the morning. I'll also be bringing a couple of long sleeved shirts for the kids that go under t-shirts just in case there is a sudden change--happens around the gulf all the time.

Another TX family here! We leave Sunday and I've packed jeans and tshirts for myself and DH, along with some long sleeved tees to layer if needed. We're each bringing one lightweight jacket. For the kids, jeans or leggings and tees, zip up sweaters, & a coat.

We went last year about this same time and we were glad we packed shorts and pants. The first part of our trip it was really warm but by Christmas it had cooled down alot and we needed the pants. So we are bringing a mix of pants and shorts again this year.

We leave in the morning and I've packed everything.
We're driving and plan to drive to the parks so I have a backpack of "warmer" clothes to keep in the car. DH said he would go get them if necessary.

There seems to be a couple of days with rain chances next week and they vary site to site. The local weather station is saying chances of rain on Wed/Thurs, Weather Channel says next Sat/Sun and accuweather says Friday.
