Anyone else just love TTA & Carousel of Progress?

I have just within the last few months ridden these rides for the first time, and I love them too. My husband likes Carousel of Progress a little more than me, but we both think the concept of a spinning stage-like show is really cool! And TTA is quite peaceful in my opinion...and just plain fun to see in the rides and stores!

I just visited the world for my first time this past year. We will be returning this year and I only hope that the Carousel of Progress is open! I trully enjoyed this ride. I think I hummed the song for the rest of our trip. *humming*...

Hello, fellow Kentuckian!!

I LOVE CoP! It is one of my favorite attractions. It is so nostalgic and makes me feel like Walt is right there with us. I can never get that song out of my head. I also enjoy TTA. Last visit, MK was so crowded that it is one of the few rides that we could actually get on without a forever wait. (4th of July DS and I rode it over and over and over. Lots of fun though.

We do! We always take a spin on the TTA each trip and we go to the CoP if it's open. They are a piece of Walt and that's what makes them special.

Love the TTA! It wouldn't be a trip without riding on it. Love the announcements and love seeing the bird's eye view of Space Mtn. A nice, relaxing ride through Tomorrowland- plus there's never a line to ride it.

COP- I can take it or leave it- but my mom LOVES it! She'd ride it three or four times if we let her- that and Hall of Presidents.

We just returned from WDW and we've ridden them both and YES I do like those rides/shows. Especially CoP, it's pure Walt Disney.


The next day, my two older children, as they were sitting out on the patio of the POLY hotel, were singing "It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" to everyone that passed them on the walkway. It was priceless.

Have loved TTA in all its incarnations on 23 visits over the years. In fact one summer long ago with only enough time for one more ride my DS and I both picked the then People Mover.

I do indeed love CoP & TTA (although we still call it the WEDway, just can't seem to get that name unstuck)

They are both must do's on each trip. If CoP is closed when we are there, I get a bit disappointed. I can never figure out why it isn't packed
It's pure Walt.

You bet! If needed, we fast pass Buzz and ride the PMover a couple of times. Great time!

Yes CoP and TTA (or People Mover as I've always called it) is a must-do for me during every Disney trip. I am not a big thrill ride fan (unlike the rest of my family) so while they are experiencing Space Mountain I usually take the smaller kids in the party on TTA. No small kids? I go by myself. CoP isn't always open when we go but if we luck up and find it open we're in line!

My DD (12) loves the TTA too and she is REALLY big into thrill rides.

We love them, too! I agree that they make me feel like Walt is there with us. The TTA is great for letting tired little ones rest and maybe fall asleep. I've gotten on the ride with a hot, cranky kid and left with a snoozing angel quite a few times. Then I've been able to stay at the park a little longer once I place them in their stroller.

My whole family loves them too We like the TTA because it is so relaxing and that you get a sneak inside SM...As for the caroussel....Makes me think of Walt.....The idea that this was one of his creations and that it lasted all this time ...

With all the new rides and attractions available, I hope they always keep those two....they're pure WALT

We leave on Wednesday and can't wait for COP. I hope it is open. DH loves SPace Mt./I hate it. I get to ride TTA and COP several times and then he rides them both with me. Life doesn't get any better than this!

TTA is the best. Getting a chance to sit and relax. COP, makes you actually believe that "There's a great big beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of every day."

I love the TTA. I stayed on it for 4 trips around as my DS(1) napped in my lap. It is a comfortable, relaxing ride. Great place for both kids and their parents to decompress.

My husband and I just got back last night from our most recent trip to WDW. We also love TTA and CofP. We were very happy that CofP was open on this trip as we have not been able to see this for awhile due to us traveling mostly in value season.
