I just got back from POFQ and I was a little disappointed this time around. LAst year we had a great time there. The room was spotless and we got our room right away at about noon when we arrived.
This year was a little different. We got to the hotel at noon again and were told the room was not ready. We went to the pool for a swim and were told at 3:30 that our room would not be ready for a while because they had to shampoo the carpets! I freaked out because I didn't know WHY they would have to shampoo a carpet?! They told me it was normal maintenance. I thought check in was at 3pm so why would they decide to shampoo a carpet and not let me in until it dried. We didn't get into our room until almost 5pm!
I think they forgot to actually clean the room....it was filthy! There was a brown stain in the pillow the counter in the sink area was sticky and there were hairs on it! The bathroom was filthy too. My mom had a connecting room and same thing with hers!
The whole week we were there the counter remained filthy, my moms bed was made but the yellow cover on the bed was wrinkled and half on and she drinks milkshakes for her diet and the powder was spilt on the dresser and stayed that way the entire week. I didn't want to complain while we were there in fear that housekeeping would do something to our room if they got talked to!
Was anyone else there this week and disappointed in the cleanliness of their room? We were in building 3. Ireally LOVE this resort and it is a shame that I feel like I can't go back there due to the lack of cleanliness!
