i ust want to clarify that i have no problem with it what so ever, and if i went to any other place -disney or not- throughout the world i would appreciate if they had stuff in english for me.

i actually picked up how to say some stuff in another language from hearing it over and over and over and over abd over and over again. so that was cool, i guess...

but yeah. ive got no problem with it!

Is anyone else getting a little irriatated with all the spanish translations on rides/monrail/shows, after saying it in English?

That's life - I'm sure Native Americans had similar feelings when Europeans first arrived in North America ;)

I am a tad bit ashamed that I only speak one language when in many other countries they speak more than one and often the second language is English.

I am assuming that they translate into Spanish because that is the main second language at DW? (do not know for sure)

I remember the little girl I met at the parks who was so pleased that I was able to tell her that she was 'beautiful/Linda" in her native language. :sunny:

It's OK with me but why just Spanish? How about French, German, Japanese and Red Neck?

:confused3 :grouphug:

Hey, hey, now, we red necks don't get outta the hollers much and cain't understand you city folk... :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Doesn't bother me at all! WDW is a destination fro people from all over the world! Just makes sense!

Maybe they could say it in English with a Spanish accent! LOL I really don't care either way as long as I can understand what one of them says fine by me.

Doesn't bother me. In fact, sadly, the monorail spiel is the only real Spanish I know! (And that's after several semesters of Spanish in high school and college.)

If it makes you feel any better, at Disneyland Paris, everything is in French and also in English.

I'm not irr-ia-tated. Sadly, I'm also not shocked that someone is. Some like to make issues out of anything/nothing. :surfweb:

I"m surprise that they have the Spanish translation at WDW. I'm use to it all the time at DLR.

CJ...Just sharing my opinion, if it wasnt anything/nothing theres no need for a comment from you. :confused3

Actually, you asked a question. I answered, and shared an opinion of my own. Perhaps you shouldn't have asked the question if there was no need for any further comment. :confused3

It doesn't really bother me much, in fact I have most of them memorized so now I speak spanish! :thumbsup2 I live in California so it sometimes seems that Spanish is the main language :teeth: WDW IS an international destination but it's ALSO in the USA! at least TRY to speak ENGLISH! if I go to another country I try to speak THEIR language...no matter how bad an accent I have...which sometimes peeves them off. Helen

Nope. I actually think it's kinda fun sometimes. The way the guy says some words.
