Anyone else in Melbourne feel the earth quake?

I hope everyones nerves have calmed down, and that you don't get anymore big ones.
I work in Christchurch ( live rurally out of the city) and our city and lives will never be the same again. In fact we basically have no inner city left, buildings are still being pulled down 15 months later

Anyhow I hope everyone is okay, it's no fun jumping at every noise and shudder.

That is so sad. I love Christchurch - we had a wonderful visit there several years ago. Loved Cathedral Square and the Art Centre and the big park etc. Punting on the Avon. I really hope they do rebuild as we would definitely like to come back someday, and you people that live there really deserve to get your beautiful city back.

Was pretty strong here in Hampton. One of the cats was literally doing the scared cartoon cat thing- fur standing up all over place, tail straight up, back arched and crazy eyes, poor thing, the house was rattling away and I'm rolling about laughing at her!

Living across from the train line (which I normally take no notice of) today is no fun, every time a train is coming the sound is

The wind is howling through here tonight, reminds me of the sound that I thought was wind last night but ended up being the rumble
