Anyone else in Melbourne feel the earth quake?

The Age are just reporting that the epicentre was near Moe. Hope everyone down that way is okay.

No such luck. You'll fall near the Azores in the Atlantic Ocean.

I hope you all got by with no damage:)

My husband and I jumped off the couch and ran to get the boy out of bed, my Faceache has gone mad, all over Victoria it looks like...

I've felt them before but never that much, my neighbours were outside and I yelled "did you get that too?" LOL

We face a railway line so are used to a bit of noise and rattle but that was scary...

:rolleyes1i had to turn faceache on to see what comments there were, these days i forget to log into it i prefer the dis boards what does that say about my life:lmao:

Whats the fun in that??

I remember we had one last year when the pool was being dug, I thought they'd hit the house with the digger, it wasn't that big though :scared1:

No damage here, but the adrenaline is still pumping now, and my sister freaked because she tried to ring me and couldn't get through

Every time the heater turns on or a train goes past my heart pumps faster

Addicted to The Dis much? LOL

A lot of rattling here in bayside melb. The kids were just finishing smurfs in NY DVD and one just kept watching , the other started hyperventilating ( almost)!

It's a tiddler compared to the one I went through in Newcastle in the 80's but I do hope the folk in the Latrobe valley epicenter are ok.

Was pretty strong here in Hampton. One of the cats was literally doing the scared cartoon cat thing- fur standing up all over place, tail straight up, back arched and crazy eyes, poor thing, the house was rattling away and I'm rolling about laughing at her!

One of mine had the same wild eye look when she forced the door down to come inside. She scooted under the doona!!

I would like to point out that we had an earthquake first! *pout* now everyone is going to forget about us... again!! :rotfl:

I hope it's your last and not the start of something worse, like it was for Chch (our previously non-earthquake city). Just be very aware of yourselves, Chch thought the Sept 2010 on was a one off and they've had over 10,000 aftershocks inc the Feb '11 one that killed so many.

I do feel very sorry for the poor people from Christchurch that moved to Melbourne thinking they were in a non-earthquake zone. One family on our NZ news feed were completely freaked out last night, they'd left Chch after the killer quakes and it's shook up all the emotions.
