Went to pay for our cruise yesterday with my Disney Visa and is was declined.
So I called them and the problem was to my understanding that they are changing over to Chase and I will have a new experation date on that card, so until I get my new card I can't use it at all. He said it should be in mail soon - lets hope

I have had trouble with it from the begining. And since it's in my husband's name (even though I have a card with my name too) they won't talk to me about it on the phone. I hate Disney VISA and can't wait to pay it off and cancel it. It's not worth the headache.

I recently tried to charge tuition for a CME course over the phone, and the charge didn't go through. I am not sure if the problem is with Disney Visa or the CME company, because another card that I use all the time also didn't go through, so, I ended up paying by check. When we were in Chicago at spring break, a charge we tried to make at the Museum of Science and Industry didn't go through. This has happened before when we went to Chicago--I think companies in general are suspicious of credit card use in Chicago by people who live in Indiana. I have no trouble when I call ahead, and they expect the charges. When the charge didn't go through in Chicago, the bank fell over itself apoligizing for declining the charge.

No problems here. Used mine last night. We got out new Chase card about a week ago and I used the Bank One card the day the Chase ones came in the mail. We have never had a problem with the card at all.

We got our new cards on Saturday. I would think yours should be there soon! :)

No new cards here yet, but I have had no trouble at all using mine (used it three times yesterday... groceries, gas & pet food store)

christinadei, just because your name is on the card, doesn't mean they have you as "owner" or "financially responsible" for the card. My husband has one in his name, but he isn't responsible for it, so they will only talk to me. Same goes with my bank, his credit cards or even some bills that are in his name only. They do that for legal reasons.

We almost had our phone cut off. We had it on auto-pay with the Disney Visa and didn't realize that when they converted it to Chase it required a new authorization because of the expiration date.

We got a bill in the mail, which is unusual since we always pay online. It was a disconnect notice. It's all better now. :teeth:

I've had problems with my Disney VISA, but not recently. CRO typed in my expiration date wrong and the card was denied and frozen. I had to call Bank One to get it fixed. This happend to me twice, but I didn't know it was frozen the first time until I tried to use it somewhere else. It was a huge pain.

No problems here. Haven't gotten the new cards yet tho.

Regina reminded me that I will have to also make a new authorizaiton wiht DD's housing billing office. They charge $50 if pay is just a day late!

herc.

I got my new Chase card in the mail this weekend and promptly ordered my Happiest Celebration on Earth limited edition card. :)

Never had any problems.

Have used it way too often the last couple weeks (wedding  ).

The only "problem" was when I recently purchased a computer online. The card was declined. When I called Chase, they said it was a "protective" measure, because the card had never been used for that big a purchase online before. The situation was quickly resolved.

I now have my "Classic Mickey" card. Pay it off every month. Have (so far) over $425 to use on my cruise next year.

No difficulties at all.

The same thing happened to me! I was trying to pay off my cruise and it was declined. We had just gotten new cards a couple months ago and I used that card(including the numbers on the back), but when we called to find out what was going on, they said an outdated card was used! We did finally get it to go through and we got new cards just the other day (a few months after our last new cards).
