Anyone else having issues with My Disney Experience?

Availability for a lot of rides is way down from this morning. No safari or Everest available my first day (Nov 10) anymore. No RNR or ToT available on my last day (Nov 14)!

Except for the fact that my son is missing so I made all the FPs just for myself, everything is fine for me other than missing SDD. I'm more concerned about missing my son than missing SDD though LOL.
That has to be a glitch of some kind. There's just no way those particular rides are out of availability. I just checked with my AP and they're wide open for the next 30 days. They can't possibly be booked up the first part of November.

I kept the cancellations too.
Yes, good idea. I remember reading a post that they their Credit Card was charged for the NO SHOW fee, when in fact they cancelled. It took them awhile to unravel, but the e mail cancellations helped provide proof.

So I guess I've been out of the loop. Ticket prices are going up again in October? Is there a thread somewhere that this is being discussed? Haven't seen anything anywhere, but maybe not looking in the right place? Thanks!
You may want to run a search on Rumors or ask @rteetz. It’s probably in one of his Update threads. Because details haven’t been confirmed by Disney, all that’s known is ‘mid-October’ and TAs are being trained regarding the changes.

well dang. Just checked, and our Thanksgiving trip no longer exists. We are staying at the Best Western, which receives EMH and 60 FP booking. It is no longer showing, and my wife and I are not listed for a trip either. I will give it a few days, but my 60 day window opens in 3 days.

I don’t have a specific thread yet since there isn’t much known yet but there has been a little discussion in my news round up thread.

Tickets purchased directly from Disney can be upgraded by calling. You can upgrade your tickets in a package but if it’s the basis for Free Dining, you aren’t able to upgrade to APs...you can only add on ticket entitlements.
Gah. I'm in a chat now and the guy says I can only upgrade in person. No idea if he is right.

"Currently tickets can only be upgraded at the Walt Disney theme parks"

@rteetz has been following the ticket pricing. Full details haven’t been released especially regarding APs, but yes, if you are thinking of upgrading to APs, it would be best to do so prior to mid-October as a precaution.
What about new APs? I need to go search and see what is going on. A few days off the dis and I miss announcements.:headache:

We are here now and we lost all of our plans adrs, tickets, fastpasses and nothing still works. MDE is still down

Since this has been happening with some regularity I'd like to have a plan for if this happens when I'm actually on vacation. We are traveling Thanksgiving week and the crowds could be bad - especially if it's a free for all with no one having FP available.

What is happening in the parks when the system is down? Can you enter FP by saying you know you had a reservation? Or showing a screenshot?

All of my tickets assigned to dummy names are missing (8) 1 day PH expire 2026 and (2) 9 day PH expire 2030. Also, the dummy names are missing from the friends/family list.

That is terrifying!

I also store extra tickets under dummy names that don't expire for years because I bought at good prices and before ticket price increases. Mine are currently showing but my AP vouchers have disappeared :(

Yes, I'm seeing an issue with ADRs. I'm showing some cancelled ADRs even though I know they are cancelled, MDE is stating that cancellation for these reservations is currently unavailable. Yeah Disney because I cancelled them a while ago!

Although it hasn’t been mentioned here on TPAS, on other boards, forums, and websites it’s been noted that new ticket structuring goes into place next month. In order for the new structuring to be up and running by mid-October, Disney has to get all that new programming into the MDX system.

MDX has always been glitching prior to major programming changes - dessert parties, dining packages, new attractions, etc. always cause downtime for MDX...and it’s referred to as Magical Enhancements. ;)
What is the new ticket structure? Is there value in purchasing tickets before this? TIA!

I've been having issues for weeks. Finally, on September 4th, I called and held for less than five minutes and was connected to someone in their IT department.

At that time, MDE was showing the following:

Four Resort Reservations
Eight tickets
Two profiles for my daughter
Two profiles for my son
An incorrect profile for myself

MDE should have shown the following:

Three resort reservations (one of which was my 84 year old mother's room)
Five tickets
One profile for my daughter
One profile for son
A correct profile for myself

After a half hour of the original castmember trying to fix the issues, she finally escalated the issue. They continued to work on it and, all the while, they are asking me what I see on my end and are telling me what they see on their end. One hour and 11 minutes after I made the call, they had all but one issue fixed and I didn't notice it until after I had hung up. I've since called and they supposedly fixed the issue; however, I am not sure that they actually did.

So, today, I log on and I'm seeing four resort reservations, seven tickets, one profile for my daughter (the wrong one), two profiles for my son and only half of my dining reservations. My FP+ date is the 18th and I'm hoping that whatever glitch/bug/problems they are having is resolved before that date.

I would just call and ask.

So I just spoke to someone.

What they can do is remove my tickets from my package and make it a ticketless package. Then I can get a refund on those in 7-10 business days and purchase the AP.

I’m not sure it’s worth the hassle since we don’t know for sure if APs will increase in price and if they do, I would hope not too much since they already went up this year.

I paid with multiple credit cards (lol - had to get those rewards) so I don't think I want to deal with tracking the money down and worrying about the resort stay getting screwed up.

Of course I'll probably regret it if the price does shoot up or they make it so that you can't upgrade. :o

The bolded part is what worries me.
I have a lot of 7 day park hoppers that I want to upgrade to DVC AP vouchers. I had planned to spread that out over years.

Ouch. That would be rough.

For me, if they did make it so you couldn’t upgrade, I would just remove my tickets from my pacakage at that point.

....unless there’s a point in time where you can’t do that? Is there like a 30 or 60 day window or something?

That is terrifying!

I only have 5 tickets missing now , and the ones they’ve restored are listed under dummy names I deleted a long time ago ...so maybe I’m seeing progress? :rotfl2:

Seriously, all can do is laugh at this point. A Fortune 100 company website. Thousands of dollars worth of tickets wiped from accounts and/or switched to different names.

It’s kind of like logging into Fidelity and seeing our stocks switched or gone. I’d be panicking there. Disney, not so much, and that’s what’s really sad. They know people will still pay for this mess. I haven’t called, yet. Our trip is about a month away, so they will fix this.

Another thing that’s crazy is a CM didn’t want to put some of these very tickets on physical cards because they said having them in their system is better for safekeeping. Um, yeah, ok.

I couldn't get fast passes for the new rides.
