Anyone else having issues with 2014 reservations effecting 2013 fp+ usage?

I'm not sure how many DVC members here are local to WDW and have MBs already but I figured I'd see if I was the only one with this issue.

I made an April 2014 reservation for my DD's sweet 16 and prior to that reservation linking itself to my MDE I was able to book up to 7 days worth of FP+ now that it is linked I can only book 2 days (the reservation is for a single night).

It is only effecting my 15yr old and myself as we are the only ppl on the reservation. I have FP+ booked for Tgiving and the Saturday before Christmas so I'm not willing to cancel those just to be able to use FP+ in the parks a single day at a time.

I thought you could only make FP+ 60 days ahead. Has that changed? Our next trip is in May, so I was thinking I had several months before I had to worry about that.

Sorry you are having trouble.

I have a split stay reservation (so two separate reservations) for our late November - early December trip. I also have an April reservation. Not having any trouble with MDE or FP+ selections for the Nov/Dec trip.

Haven't tried to do anything for April as it's too far away.

I'm not trying to book for April, I was trying to book for tomorrow. I already have MBs and use FP+ 2-3x a week since my APs are linked to the bands (from a summer stay).

I think it may be glitchy or they are implementing AP holder limits. I have 2 days booked over the holidays that I'm not going to give up and then once I cancelled my DVC I was able to book more days under my name so I have 5 days. But my younger son who wasn't even on the DVC reservation, was saying he was at limit with 4 days booked but then I could copy our FP+ slots to him no issue so now he has 5 days booked. We normally wouldn't have any advance bookings but with Christmas and Tgiving crowds I wanted things booked.

We had gone in sept (not part of AP+) and are going again in May, so I haven't been too too involved in details. Just thought I had missed something.

I did not know you can book sixty days out. I made my selections for this month, but we also have trips planned for January and March. I better check out January NOW. Thanks for the update.

I agree with this. I remember reading something about only being able to book maybe 14 days at a time. This way it prevents local booking everyday for the next 60 days and then being a no show.

I just started setting our FP+ up for January and we have PAP. I got the page saying my DM and DD were at their limits on the first day I tried. I had to then go back in and was able to copy mine to them. According to the January MB thread on the theme park board this has been happening to a lot of people not just AP holders.

I am also having issues. My husband ad I are going to Disney Dec. 12th. I was on the phone with Disney for 2 hours straight today and the end result? " You will have to keep playing with the site. We are having problems with the site right now. REALLY ???? I have wasted an entire day trying to make it all work, It is all very frustrating. I can only make fast pass reservations for my husband, but I am not eligible. I am the only DVC member and we have annual passes because of me. All I have to say is ***???

Did you try to go back in to make FP for that same day? When this happened to me I clicked on FP+ again and chose that date again. It gave me the option to copy. After choosing copy I followed the steps and copied my FP to my DS and DM who were originally "not eligible". They went through fine then. Hope everything ends up working out.

This has also been my work around. This is a new and problematic glitch.

Same problem and same solution as the others. I had 4 people on the reservation for 2 night. The system let me book 4 people for day one, 2 for day 2(I was one that it wouldn't let me book) and 3 for day 3. I then went back in and copied the ones that wouldn't take, and they all took. As a FYI, three of the people are on DVC vouchers for PAP.
