gets upset at the thought of giving their tooth to the Tooth Fairy? :rotfl2: My DD had no problem giving the first three up. However, she was in tears tonight and struggling with the decision of keeping her tooth or getting money.

She decided to keep it and said "I will miss it" if she gave it away.

She then told me she wanted to get a special "treasure" box and keep ALL her teeth.:rotfl2:

Can anyone say.... SEPARATION ANXIETY;)

I used to tell my boys that the tooth fairy collects baby teeth to give to the babies that don't have teeth. She leaves money to pay for the teeth that she gives out.
When my two older sons were losing their teeth it just so happened that my youngest was getting his teeth in. Every time we put a tooth under the pillow my youngest would get a new tooth that night.
Poor kid, even got his brother's leftover teeth.

My son also doesn't give up his teeth. Every tooth is his "favoritest tooth ever" and "best friend". So he gives me his tooth for safe keeping and I give him a dollar.

We solved this problem by writing the tooth fairy a letter. We explained to the tooth fairy that DS would really like to keep his teeth, so the tooth fairy still left him his dollar as well as his tooth. We have a little box with all of his teeth in it. :) I still have a box with my teeth from when I was a kid and did the same thing. :)

lol. Does the youngest know this yet??

I had a couple teeth, like the ones the dentist pulled. I had one tooth grow in fully and the baby tooth stuck to the gum. Finally the detist pulled it, but killed the gum, so my gum line dips a little where that tooth hung on. And i still have one baby tooth because there never was a permanant tooth there.

There is no tooth fairy!

Funny story. We did Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy. Nothing else was real. In kindergarten this year, the teacher was making a big thing about Leprechauns. Our daughter didn't believe in Leprechauns, but wasn't quite sure after school when the teacher was making a big deal.

So, we are sitting at dinner and Mom and her are arguing about Leprechauns. Mom says they aren't real... But the teacher says they are....

Mom sort of convinces her Leprechauns are not real.

Daughter drops something on the floor and as she bends down, Mom says, "and Fairies aren't real either" meaning Tinkerbell. Only, it accidentally came out......

"and Tooth Fairies aren't real either."

Our daughter jumped up from bending over reaching for whatevershedropped nearly jumping right out of her seat like this.... :scared1: "WHAT!!!!!"

And such, there is no more Tooth Fairy in our house.

3 days ago, she pulled out one of her teeth. She left a note on the kitchen table to Mom (was at work.) It said....

Dear "Tooth Fairy" (Wink Wink) Here's my tooth, now show me the money, bub!
