Anyone else have a canceled trip? (Midwest)

Had a great trip planned at Animial Kingdom Lodge (Dec. 1st - 5th) with the rate code but Midwest snow canceled our evening flight by late morning on Dec. 1st. The only flights available would have gotten us in by Dec. 2nd at night but we would only have Sun & Mon (full days) that it just wasn't worth it. Graciously, WDW offered us a refund on out stay and American Airlines is supposed to be refunding us as well.

I should be in Disney right now. It's hard to see the bright side of a situation like this. I'm really bummed...

I'm so so sorry about your canceled trip. I know the snow is yucky when it comes to timing!

Hoepfully with the refund from American you'll be able to make another trip in the future.

It still bites but maybe it will get you though knowing that you can plan another tip.

That is a bummer. I know that when I read the boards this time of year, it really makes me want to be in WDW. Even though I'll be there in January, it's not the same. to you.

We feel so bad for you. We are in Wi and got the same snow. All I could think of were the poor people that got their vacations delayed because of the snow. It really hits home for us as we are leaving in 6 days and the same thing could happen. Hopefully, you can make new plans. I know it's not the same but you still would be going to WDW.
