Anyone else hate Crocs, Crocs threads, and even typing "Crocs"

I can just see it now, Hey have you tried the new T-Box shoes that guy Matt has? I hear they are so comfortable and the new shoes to wear at Disney. And they are only $29.95 :lmao:
:rotfl2: I haven't laughed so much as I have today! :rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

OMG, I think I'm going to suffocate from laughing.

There is yet another Crocs thread in the theme parks forum. I don't know if it's a joke (if so, it's a good one), but it's a question about how to tighten the strap! :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Do the mods need to create a footwear forum?

I saw someone suggest maybe a sticky thread for all Crocs-related questions. I'm beginning to think that's not a bad idea.

Also, do the TP-box shoes come with aloe in the TP? I figure that would be the way Kleenex can compete with Crocs in the "squishy" feel that people seem to love about Crocs.

I do not see how people could possibly think they are COMFORTABLE! :confused3 We just started selling them at our local Walmart and they sell like crazy but they are so ugly I don't know what you could possibly wear them with but hey, to each their own I guess? :rolleyes1

Aloe is an extra $7.99. If you want holes in it, I'll be glad to punch holes in the boxes for an extra 3.99

Can I get the Finger Jello inserts, Matt, just to make them feel really, really cushy? That might convince me to buy your Boc's!

Unless you are asking if Crocs are comfy walking around the parks, I have yet to understand why the heck all those thread aren't moved to the Community Board? I mean come on! You ask about a resort on this board and it gets moved immediately! Why not the Croc threads?

I saw a Disney "value" of $99 to purchase a CD of all your Photopass pix they take from your WDW vacation. The above deal seems to be about as good a "value" as that. ;)

Oh, what the heck! Put me down for some Bocs, with aloe and the holes. My Disney Visa number is 9999 9999 9999 9999, expiry 06/03.

Oh wait, do Bocs come with a strap? :confused3

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Matt, you also need to check on your distributors...every place I've seen your Bocs, they have tons of styles but only two sizes in stock.

I like these for formal events..pretty classy...

This style is nice...but way too small for me...

It seems they are being moved now. I noticed the one about tightening the straps ( :rotfl2: :lmao: ) was moved to Community or something like that.

Oh, the chafing this would cause.

Are these anti-microbial? I would hate for the bloody gashes on my ankles, caused by the above, to get infected.

Who cares about chafing? As long as my feet look good, that's all I care about.

I agree I think they are the ugliest shoes I have seen. Back in the 60's/70's they had rubber sandels that kinda looked like these and nobody bought them because back then people had more common sense then to put rubber on your feet.

I saw that thread, and immediately Busted out Laughing. :lmao: I wanted to respond, but fear of getting "sensored" brought me to my senses. ;)

Read it now. WDWOldTimer posted a wicked funny comment in it.

I love it...because I think Crocs are ugly and would never wear them, that I would rather wear a comfortable, good looking shoe, I have no self esteem? :rotfl: Holy crap, that is funny. :lmao: So I care about my appearance, big deal. I like to present myself a certain way, it doesn't have ANYTHING to do with what others think. It's for me, and I prefer not to wear clown shoes, that's all. :teeth:

If people didn't care how they looked, then why are there mirrors? Should I go out with tanlged hair, wrinkled clothes??!!??!!

You Croc people... :lmao:

My point was that if you wear shoes to WDW that are uncomfortable or cause you pain, and you know that there are alternatives that won't cause you pain, then that is definitely a sign that you are more concerned about the impression others have of you than your own well-being, which is a self-esteem issue.

Again, if you are able to wear other shoes besides Crocs in WDW with no discomfort, then more power to you. Personally, I have never found a shoe that has felt better after a long day of walking than my Crocs. I haven't worn them to WDW yet, but I will definitely try them on my next trip. In the past, I have worn New Balance shoes with Dr. Scholl's gel inserts. My feet were still killing me by the end of the day. As I said, I haven't tried Crocs at WDW yet, but I have had days where I have done a lot of walking with them, and so far they have caused me no discomfort at all.

Of course, I suppose none of you "Croc-haters" have ever enjoyed a product enough to want to recommend it to others.......nor would you ever in a million years ask for advice on a product you were considering from those who already own the product?

I think maybe you're taking this thread a little too seriously.

I don't "hate" Crocs myself (but I don't like them either), but I do happen to think it's a little ridiculous to see thread after thread about them in the theme parks forum. Why not thread after thread about Hanes(tm) t-shirts in the parks, or Levi(tm) jeans in the parks, Izod(tm) socks in the parks, Cincinnati Reds(tm) hats in the parks? It's just a little bizarre, I think, to be so focused on one brand of footwear - in a theme parks board! The mods are starting to move these Crocs threads to the Community forum now, which is appropriate, because thread after thread about some silly shoe company is just not appropriate for a theme park forum.

I, for one, love this thread. This is a topic that was long overdue.

Maybe I'll start a bunch of threads - in Theme Parks - about the benefits of New Balance shoes. They are by far the most comfortable pairs of shoes for my feet. Wouldn't they be just as comfy for everyone else? ;)

I admit, I did not read this whole thread- just the title and diet coke just about came flying out my nose!!!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Maybe it needs to be a sticky so there aren't 50 of these thread around :rotfl: (I am just kidding- please DO NOT MAKE IT A STICKY!!!!!!!!!!)

For the record, they are pretty ugly, but if people find them comfy, then so be it :)
