I'm planning DBF and my first big trip together to disney world in January. He's never been, and is basically tolerating the planning process. Since I just made dining reservations yesterday, I had gone through restaurant menus for days and narrowed it down to what I think he and I would like, and asked him for very specific input instead of big open-ended questions. (Would you be more interested in X or Y? instead of Where do you want to eat out of this list A to Z?). I'm kind of nervous he won't "get" disney like I do, but he says he'll have fun. If he balks at the idea of getting up early every day and wants to sleep till noon, maybe I'll get up and do a park totally commando by myself and meet him for lunch. That might be something to help you too- just cuz he wants to relax all day doesn't mean you have to all the time. you're married, but you haven't morphed into one person. Split up for a bit and do what makes you each happy- then you'll have wonderful things to tell each other when you meet up a couple hours later, instead of feeling that you're missing out.
