Anyone else going mid-may 2007.

We will be visiting WDW in May, and I am interested if anyone else knows of any special things, or new released events that are happening during that time.

Last year we went the last week of May (we're going again at the same time this year). Epcot does the Flower & Garden Festival. Its really cool. All of the bushes and flowers are shaped like disney characters. I've added some pictures for you to see.(If you have trouble seeing the detail just click on them and you can see larger versions) Also, MGM starts Star Wars weekends in the middle of May and thats pretty cool. There are several character experiences with some of the guys from the movie.

However...
We're kind of looking to avoid special events that translate into HUGE crowds, so I'm anxious to see the dates of the Star Wars weekends for different reasons. From what I understand (and someone please let me know if I'm wrong), that is mostly concentrated at MGM on weekends, and not much effect on the crowds at other parks mid-week??
We're arriving on Sun and leaving on Sat, so we could easily avoid MGM over the weekend.

We will be there 12-18th. Can't wait hopefully it won't be too crowded. Schools should be back in session from spring break and I don't FLA kids get out until the week after. Thats what my friend who lives down there said.

We go every May.

We'll be there Sat-Sat May 12-19 at SSR.

Friday-Sunday at MGM will be Star Wars Weekends.
My DS8 had a great time last year!!!

The Epcot Flower & Garden Festival is going on at that time.

This is our 4th mid-May trip and our FAVORITE time of year to visit!
