Anyone else going in May?!?

This is our first ever trip to WDW! Hubby and I have never been...and all 4 kiddos have never been! We are all so excited all we can think and talk about is Disney!! We are staying in two rooms at POFQ. We are also celebrating DS and DD's 5th birthday while we are there on the 20th!!! I can't think of a better place to turn 5!!
Anyone else going in May?!

Congrats on your First Trip. Be sure to get the kids "First Trip Pins" and " Birthday Pins" from the front desk or Guest relations at the parks. They will get lots of attention.

DH and I do not have children but we go every year. Our trip this May will be 5/4-5/11 and we are staying at our DVC resort AKL-Kidani. This will be our 13th trip since 2002. Our next trip is this October 26-11/2, for MNSSHP. DH loves being there for Halloween. We are staying at AKV-Jambo with his Mom and Brother for that trip.

We stayed at POFQ in 2006 and really loved it. We live 110 miles from New Orleans and the place really captures the vibe of NOLA (New Orleans, Louisiana for us locals).

My first trip I was 34 in 2002 and was instantly addicited--so be careful you may be too. Have fun!!

My husband, our 4-year old b/g twins, both sets of grandparents and I will be embarking on our first whole family vacation ever and our first family trip to Disney. I've been to WDW twice - once as an eight-year old and once in '97. I visited Disneyland and California Adventure in March of 2003. We are really excited about this adventure as a family and haven't yet told the kids. We are trying to wait as long as possible.

Do your children already know about your trip? If so, how did you tell them?

We are heading down May 12-20 and staying at Wilderness Lodge. It will be 3rd trip with the kids but it has been 6 years since are last one.

Me-Me-Me!!! We're checking in early on the 10th for a weekend getaway for DH's birthday! Staying at POR and our kids are NOT invited on this trip

ME!!! Me and my little girl are going to be at the Beach Club from May 2- May 6. It is our first time staying on Disney property and our first trip just the two of us. We are REALLY excited!!

In 30 days we will be off to see Mickey and the princesses!!!

Congrats on your family's first trip to WDW! Everyone is going to have a blast! I've personally never got to celebrate my birthday at Disney World, but both my DH and daughter have. My DD celebrated her sweet 16th birthday there two years ago! It's definitely exciting to celebrate there!

We'll be there in May too---May 27-June 2 to be exact!

We'll be there too - celebrating DS's 10th birthday (it's double digits Mom!). We (ok me) couldn't make up our minds so we are doing a split stay at BC and BLT. We're there May 18-25 so we get Star Wars and make it in time for the end of Flower and Garden. Here's hoping our waiting time passes quickly!

We will be there May 27-June 2. We go to celebrate our birthday's. My DS is May 9th, mine is May 31st, and other DS is June 12th. It is an awesome time to go crowd and weather wise. You will have a blast!

DS's birthday is 5/21 so just a day after your twins! I was so happy on Sunday because I could officially say "we are going next month!". I see they announced the hosts for Star Wars weekends, but still waiting on the full list of special guests so DH can maybe get an autograph.

How funny!! That is great. He is going to have such a great birthday to remember. I hope he gets an autograph. My oldest are really excited about seeing the SW characters. They really want to see the jedi training too. Maybe we will see you there. Great job on the ticker too! That took me forever to figure out.

Just decided last night to plan a much-needed quickie trip to Disney May 1-4. I'm SO excited!! Disney is our favorite place to be but it's been 4 years since our last trip (anywhere). Can't wait to play at Disney with my daughter!! We're giving up a lot to make this happen but I know it will be worth it and the memories we make are priceless.

Anyone know what the crowds and weather will be like?

So, May Trippers, what ADR's have you made??

Since this is a short trip for DH and me, I just have a breakfast at Kona, and a dinner at R&C for DH's birthday dinner (we're going to try to hold out for a patio table). Other than that, just CS for us, definitely want to try WPE for lunch
