anyone else going 3/1-3/9???

One week from today we will be in the air on our way...YIPEE.my 5 year old can't wait.....bummer about the shortened hours ..We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside.was hoping for AK but was still high at $174 standard room with AP rates.....who else will be there???

We'll be there with five year old grandson, Andrew. We will be staying at OKW since we are DVCrs. We will be there from
March 2- March 7, Sunday through Friday morning. What shortened hours are you speaking about?? I was down last week and MK was open until 7 PM on weekdays and 9 on weekends. AK 5PM, MGM 7 PM and 9 on weekends, and Epcot 9 PM. Since we were down with small kids nobody cared about the early closures. The parks were very busy, however. Way too crowded for my tastes but we usually travel the first week in Sept when the crowds are nil.

By the way, I stayed at AKL on Saturday night to save points. I paid for a Savannah view room ( 174.00) which was very pricey even though we had AP rates. The money was worth it to see the animals upclose right out our balcony. MY 11 year old grandddauter was much more impressed than the 5 YO we had with us( my best friend's Granddaughter), so maybe you made the right choice not to book AKL while your child is so young.

We will be staying at POFQ from 3/1 - 3/5. There will be several other people from the New Orleans area because it's Mardi Gras.

We'll be there March 1st through March 8th at the Polynesian. It's Mardi Gras break in New Orleans. Park hours don't seem to be affected much that week. There's still two e ride nights at MK: Tuesday and Friday. Tuesday is Mardi Gras so we'll be the ones with the blinking Mardi Gras beads that night at e rides.

We'll be there 3/1-3/9 too! If anyone is at MK on 3/6, look for the high school marching band marching right before Share a Dream Come True!! DH is the percussion instructor at a high school in New Orleans and the band will be marching in the parade.

We'll be there too!! My DH and 2 DS will be doing a land/sea vacation, starting on March 1st. We're staying at the Poly, and sailing on the Wonder on March 6th-9th. Hoping it's warm enough for a little swimming!

The four of us are driving down this coming Friday night and will get there sometime Saturday afternoon. Staying at Holiday Inn (Maingate East?) for the first night then we head over for a 6 night stay at OKW. We've never been to OKW and are really looking forward to it. Five more days of work and I'm out of here....good bye snow and cold!
