Anyone else get their giclee print?

What are the pins referred to and when did they come out? Were they for all DVC members or were they for new purchases?

It was a mass mail to all members at the time... just like this print.

They were the little "Mickey Head" pins like you see for sale at WDW - with the American flag - but there was an inscription on the back referring to 9/11. It was a very nice touch, IMHO.

They sent out two... affixed to a nice card, sometime after 9/11. (Though some members with multiple contracts reported getting more than one set.)

But - the story is... somebody somehow got a hold of a lot of the inventory, and started selling them on eBay. There was also a story that there was some sort of legal reason they had to stop sending them.

Either way - they stopped the mailing before everyone got one...

..I got my print, by the way - "B" in Florida. Good luck to all of you - it looks like we all may get these.

This purple book that everyone is asking about, is a book that they give prospective buyers. It is a sales tool. It shows the resorts, has floorplans of all the villas, list the features of DVC and has a 2006 points chart. It is not something that they have sent, or plan on sending to existing members.

Sorry, to not respond until now, but I received a beautiful coffee table quality hard bound purple book from my new DVC guide to introduce himself to us if we need another add on. In fact, I actually received two and gave the other to cobbler. Maybe they are going to send the book to some owners and the giclee to other - if that is the case, I am glad I got the book!

OK love the print but why is it that they always show a picture of WL with the green roof but not the VWL with the red roof.

I'm a DVC owner and would like to see the Villas in these prints they make.
Maybe they couldn't find a great picture for it.

Even some of SIGnatures in the posts have the WL as there home resort.
Even some other colors in the print don't match other resorts.

Don't get me wrong I love it but it doesn't depict OUR resorts correctly. JMHO

Alright now ( ITS IMAGINATION TIME) you see the MICKEY CLOUD top center,

now do you see PACMAN to the right getting ready to eat MICKEY's ear,

and then further right OSCAR THE GROUCH chasing PACMAN before he get MICKEY

now the cloud to the left of MICKEY is that a RABBIT (with its ears thrown back ) running towards MICKEY to help?
