Anyone else get stuck on POC ride on 11/19?

Couldn't wait to rides Pirates of the Caribbean. About half way through the ride, the boat stops and a voice comes on the speaker saying that the ride has been temporarily delayed. By the time the ride started up again, there were several boats lined up!

Was anyone else on the ride then???

We werent on the ride but we were just about to get in line when people started pouring out of the queue saying the ride was broke down. This was right about the beginning of the EMH for the night...correct?

I was not in the World at this time, but I do have to say....I would not mind getting stuck on POTC. I can think of much worse rides to get stuck on.

This is a fairly regular occurance. Its usually not because of any malfunction of the ride. Most of the time, they have stopped the ride to load a wheelchair party.

If we are speaking of the same occurance; this was not a stop to load a passenger requiring assistance. POtC was closed for the rest of the night after this.

We got stuck on that in August. We were stuck for so long , they rescued us off of the boats. LOL! Got to walk backstage and all. I had gone on the ride by myself, and was in the first boat, my kids were way in the back stuck at the same time. I didn't know they were on then until I called their cell phone to tell them I was stuck on POC. Anyone else stuck in August 2006?

I hope it didn't ruin your fun. To me, that sounds like fun since I know POTC well. Anything new is cool.
