My window opens on Thursday morning at 7. I feel nervous. LOL I think part of it is the new Avatar rides. I feel like between now and then I need to have MY GAME PLAN ready. Those are the first ones I am making. We will spend more time at AK than ever before on this trip. We usually spend 2 half days there. Not sure how that will work with the new stuff.

yeah, because you think of everything that could possibly go wrong. Like you said, you feel stress to make the perfect plan and it builds to that morning. But then when you get everything you wanted, you can relax and it's smooth sailing from then on.

Hit my "60 day" mark this morning.

For me, FPP's did not open at 7:00:00am or 7:00:02am so I hit refresh and was on making FPP's at 7:00:05am.

Both Pandora rides where an easy get even for the first day of my visit. In fact I went back in around noon to tweek things and there was still wide availability for both Pandora attractions.

7DMT already had an earliest time of 3:30pm, I did not try for a Frozen.

Don't forget if you are booking shows (ie Lion King or Rivers of light) they block you early. For example, a 3:00pm Lion King show will block you from making another FPP between 2:30pm & 3:30pm.

If you are after 7DMT or Frozen Ever After, you might consider going for those first and then Pandora.

Don't forget you can now make a single FPP on a given day, move to another day, and then come back to finish up the first day later.

We didn't book our trip until less than 60 days, and we still got everything we were looking for. So it's not that bad. We were not looking for FEA and will be there before Pandora opens, so we weren't looking for those.

I worry it's not going to work, my tickets won't be connected, that it won't show as an on-site stay, etc. Yes, i get a knot in my stomach! It doesn't help that for my next FP date we will be either on the road to a vacation, or already at our destination, and I'll be at the mercy of hotel wifi, or my phone carrier, and trying to hide what I'm doing from DD, because she won't be told about the trip until about 3 weeks after FP day. See, now I have a stomach ache thinking about it!

No, I don't worry at all. There's nothing we "must do" and not getting something won't ruin our trip. If we have a resort booked 60 days out, I'll get my FP at that point, but I've also booked closer to our travel dates and didn't sweat it. Probably helps that we've had our fill of the most popular rides (DH doesn't ever want to do 7DMT again) so we don't need to do those. We also have no current interest in Pandora or AK.

It's a fun nervous in my book. That means vacation is that much closer!

This year will be pretty intense making FP though with the new AK attractions. We usually only spend a half day there so that may drastically change with Pandora and the Rivers of Light show. As huge MK fans with Epcot as a close second AK has never been a priority.

"Fun nervous" for me, too. I'm excited and have things I want, but I have the advantage of being a solo who has been going yearly, so I'm more flexible, and if I can't get a FP for something, I can decide if it's worth doing stand-by.

I'm not going back till next February, but I can't wait to hear first hand reports about the Pandora rides. I really want to hear about the wild/scary factor of FoP. And I'm thinking I may want to do River Journey stand-by because I'm sure the queue will be too dark for me to see well, but if I'm in a close-packed, slow moving line with people inching along right in front of me that I can follow, I'm ok.

Like a lot of folks, I'm going to end up spending more time than usual at AK, and trying to figure out how that will impact other parks/FPs.

I had NO idea you could book 1 fast pass for a given day then go back and in. GOOD TO KNOW!!!! Thanks :)

We are taking my son's best friend who has NEVER been so this will definitely be a "different" type trip for us. We will be packing in a lot.

I don't anymore. I've found the system to be a little better with having some at 30 and same day also available. The 30 day is more about people who didn't pay off their reservation and canceled or moved the trip to a new date having their fastpasses becoming available.

I've never done it before, so I'm nervous. Also, my 60 days opens on the 4th of July. We're usually getting ready to go to a parade at that time at my parents' house, and I don't know if they'll understand the importance of this.

I'm reading everything that I can so that it goes as smoothly as it can for me.

It's reminds me of first day of school nerves...a mix of nerves and excitement. Will you get everything? Are they mapped out well? Will it conflict with ADRs? So much overthinking followed by a huge sigh of relief when it's all over. Good luck!

I hit 60 days this morning as well. I was able to get both new Pandora rides, Seven Dwarfs, and Frozen. I actually had more difficulty getting Seven Dwarfs at an ideal timeframe than the new rides.

Good luck! It is nerve-wracking...but so exciting too!

I am nervous because I am booking for people who are traveling with us (suppose I didn't link us properly?!) and nervous I won't finish in time to go to work. I wish my opening was on a Saturday!

Ok, just to be sure, I can book just the frozen ride on day 1, then skip over to day 2 & grab a Pandora ride, then go back to day 1 and book my 2nd and 3rd fastpass?

I second this! Such a useful piece of information. I'll definitely get my headliners first then go back and fill in the gaps. I'm getting nervous too. My window opens in about a week and a half. I usually leave for work about 7:15 so I guess I'll get up a few mintutes early and be completely ready to go by 7:00, then get my FPs. Hopefully, I'll still be on time.

Yes! I just booked FP on Wednesday and did it that way. Pandora one day, 7DMT another and FEA another day then went back to day one and went though my list leisurely knowing I secured the tough ones.
