Anyone else get a mailing from the Castaway Club??

I got a cute mailing from the DCL Castaway Club yesterday. It opens up like a double postcard, the outside looks like a tan traveler's trunk with travel "stickers" on it, and it opens up and has a big green leaf inside. On the outside of the leaf it has a "Scratch and Sniff" square, the scent is tropical, and inside it has instructions on how to make a towel swan.

Anyone else get one of these??

No, I did not get one. Have you recently been on the DCL? Last one we were on was in 2004. Sounds cute though -- I love any Disney mail!

Nope we didn't get one yet. Of course we didn't get any of the previous mailings. I had to call to get our CC number. We did get a return cruisers gift in our stateroom , and got invited to the get together on the ship.

This is funny. I mentioned earlier in a thread I had received these.

Yes, I have recieved the one mentioned and the coconut mailing. I was thrilled to get them and thought everyone was receiving them. Haven't a clue how I got lucky with it.

For the people who have recieved them did you fill out anything while onboard? Did you do the questionaire that was emailed to you? I did bother of these.

We got one too. The funny thing was, it was addressed to my Dad. He doesn't live here, he's never been on the cruise with us, and has never received any junk mail (not that anything from DCL is junk) here before. In fact, he always swore he would never go on a cruise. I guess he took that postcard as a sign because he agreed to come on our January 3 day Wonder cruise this week.

We received one yesterday. The last cruise we were on was 2003, but we are scheduled for this Sept on the DVC member cruise.

Our first Disney cruise was August/September of 2004, and we're booked on another Disney cruise for 2006, so I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not.

Shortly after the cruise last year we got the mailing that contained our Castaway Club cards plus the CD of island music and the ship's horn. Then a few months ago we got the "coconut" mailing. And now yesterday the one with the "leaf" inside. It's fun to get these mailings

I got both this one and the coconut one as well. We crusied in May 2004 and are going again in Jan. 06 but I'm certain we had not booked our next cruise when the coconut mailing came out. But I never got my CC cards or the CD. Go figure.

One came addressed to my husband's grandfather to days ago. He has been dead about 15 years. We inheritted his house and live there now. As far as I know, he never went to Disney or on a cruise. I can't figure out how they got his name.

then you are a member. Anyone who sales on DCL is automatically a member. You can call DCL to get your membership numbers.

Yes, we got one! We also got the coconut one several months ago. Anyone tried the towel animal yet??
