My DH actually went to Mike's and got the Cricut for me for Mother's Day!! :teeth: It was wrapped bee-u-tee-full...I was SO surprised! I asked for it for my bday in August...so I was expecting the knife I was hinting about for Mother's Day...so when I saw the box, I thought...NO WAY....but it is here!!! :goodvibes

The first thing my DS wanted me to cut was "Happy Mother's Day" .... So we cut it and it is SO COOL!! He is now making them into stickers to make me a new card

I am so ready to do my titles for our vacation scrapbook now!!!!

that's great! i wanted to go to michaels yesterday, because they were doing a demo, but never made it! hope you enjoy it!

I got one but I didn't get it yet.

I've been telling DH I wanted it for my birthday (December) and he came home on Friday night and said, let's go get your Cricut!! I couldn't believe it!! So we went to AC Moore, the didn't have one, but he ordered one and even got the manager to take of 40% coupon! I love my DH, I really didn't think I'd get it until Christmas! Hopefully it will come in this week! :cool1:

I didn't get a Cricut, but I got an eyelet setter and some other tools I had been wanting, but hadn't wanted to drop the dollars for yet.

Ya gotta love Mother's day scrapping supplies!

I got one. I love it. Dh also got me the Jasmine font as well. I knew about it and have been counting down to when I could open it. I am now cleaning off my desk to make room.

On the cricut, can you type in any word you want and it will cut it, or just set words that are on the template plus separate letters?

You can make any words because its indivdual letters. There are a few sayings that are already programed into it. There is a wide variety of sizes (I think its 1/2 inch to 5 1/2 or 6 not sure) I have a picture of my two sons in RC at ASMo and I did the letters R and C 4 1/2 inches and it came out really cute.

I really like it.

I know the Wishblade is the most expensive, hooks up to your computer and you cut virtually anything without buying anything else.

Does the Cricut do anything that the Wishblade won't? And what are the differences between the Cricut and the Xyron PCS? They both will cut in different sizes, right. The Cricut appears to be more expensive, so I am wondering what else it does.

Thanks.
