Anyone else freaked out by anticipated Nov crowds?

We will be there Nov. 2nd-11th and I am pulling my DD8 out of school for that time.....
I have had our vacation planned since Feb. and was not a bit worried about the crowds until they extended FTP and everyone on the boards started worrying and that gor me to thinking now I'm with everyone else in the worry pool.
We are staying a CBR.

We'll be there Oct. 25 thru Nov. 7. I haven't really worried about the crowds, I'll just be so excited to be there!

Really, folks, you've got nothing to worry about. I've been at several different off-season times, and last year we went at Easter, one of the most crowded times to be there. Even at Easter time, we had no problem doing everything we wanted to. We just went early and fast-passed alot. In early November, you won't have any problems.

Disnee Dad Says............................................Don'y worry about it.

You need to plan a little but you will have a great time, it is nothing like summer.

To avoid the crowds for the masters art thingy at DTD, just don't go down there that weekend.
To avoid the crowds for the soaps at MGM, just don't go there that same weekend.
Jersey week is real, it does add people to the crowds, but they are all gone by Veterans Day.

The crowds will still not be that bad, but I would plan your good meals in the first five days, use FP as much as you can the first five days. When lines are longer, eat! When lines are shorter, ride!

Shock, go to EPCOT on the busy weekend! Just arrive early and eat when the poeple don't. Hit all the food stands in the first couple hours, then do it again before the dinner crowd hits.

We did this last trip, at the same time of year. Hit 4-5 stands as soon as it opened, then 4-5 more before 5pm. Not a cheap way to go, but we got to try many different foods and not wait in long lines. Try new things!!! Go for it!

The best part, and use this wisely, is that from 11/12 to 11/16, the parks will be dead, empty. You can do every ride in fantasyland in 45 minutes, if you are there when it opens. Then go to SM and wait for as long as 6 minutes.

I agree with those who think the crowds will be manageable in November. We're going 11/2-11/7 - I finally got around to making our PSs yesterday, and I was able to get every one I wanted for the specific time I requested, including several in-park restaurants. Was also able to schedule dh's golf times at the courses and exact times he requested. I like to think of those as positive signs! :D

Even if the crowds are heavier than usual for November because of FTP and the many events going on - you can still use your Disney know-how to cut your waiting time in the parks. Lots of folks either don't know about or don't use FPs; lots of folks don't use EMH to their advantage (either by going or staying away from the park in question); and some folks actually even go to WDW without a master plan! :D

Crowded or not, you'll still have a great time - you're in Disney World!

Jersey is a SMALL state, and if EVERYONE in Jersey came to WDW there would STILL be room!;) Food and Wine should be calm around that time, as I was there 2 years in a row, and not many people were there at that time.:o SSW-Super Soap Weekend is at MGM Nov. 8 and 9th and I will be arriving on Nov. 6 at CBR! This will be my 4th trip to SSW, and while the Autograph lines for the stars will be long, the ride lines WILL NOT BE!:o Get there Early, I get there around 8:30, and some rides did NOT open until 9:00am! I missed Festival of the Masters last year, and hope to go there this year and check it out!;)

We will be there from 11/6 - 11/14. As we are planning our park days I am wondering: How busy will Epcot rides be on Sat and Sun (11/8,9)? I know that the wine festival is going on, but what is the impact on attraction crowds?

Test Track always has very long lines, no matter what is going on in the park. Get there early, or you will have a wait of over an hour and Fastpass times towards evening. I presume Mission Space will be the same, once its in full operation. Most other attractions in Future World don't develop much of a line, and, if anything, the Food & Wine Festival will draw people into World Showcase instead of Future World, where most of the "rides" are.

We are going Nov 1-8. DS will be missing kindergarten that week. We are not from Jersey but are right next door, over the bridge! I refuse to do Disney in the summer because I can't function in the heat. Im not worried about the crowds too much I just can't wait to get there!

to know that everyone else isn't having a panic attack over this! i get myself worked up and fret until we get there, then i forget what i worried about!

i was spoiled on our feb trip and timed this one thinking that crowds would be similar. oh well, as long as they're not like the year we went in june, we'll be okay!

thanks for the input!

We're going 11/6-12 because that was the dates we could use our frequent flyer miles for airfare. We are DVC members, and were unable to book ANY DVC studio, 1 bedroom, or 2 bedroom for the period. After going on the waiting list for a few weeks, I called up to see if there had been any movement, and there hadn't. I then asked about the Contemporary and AKL, and they were both fully booked, so we are going with a cabin at Ft. Wilderness. We have been there before during this same week, and the crowds were not unmanageable. We did have an amusing occurrance that trip, however. The Friday evening before the SSW weekend, we had a message on our room phone, saying something like 'Due to the large crowds expected for Super Soaps Weekend, we suggest you avoid the Disney-MGM Studios; the other 3 parks will be open extra hours, have special events, etc...' The next morning, we had a new message on our phone; 'To clarify last night's message, please join us at the Disney-MGM Studios today and tomorrow for Super Soaps Weekend, meet your favorite soap stars, etc....' We always wondered what happened to the CM who left the 'stay away' message...:)

I'm going to be there Nov. 5-12 and I was at first. Now its just WHATEVER will be will be attiude. I'm going to be at the greatest place on earth with the most important people to me my DH and DS's and best friend and her family. I got ALL the PS's I wanted and I have 7 days to do all I want to see and do. I going to DISNEY WORLD and just hope for the best:)

Hope everyone has a really great time on your trip and its all you wish and hope it to be.
