Anyone else find this odd?

Gas prices are through the roof - yet I heard on the news yesterday that they expect the cost of gas to come down right after Memorial Day weekend.. A very heavily traveled weekend..

Is it a coincidence? And does anyone wanna take bets that it will suddenly go UP again just before the 4th of July??

totally normal around here in New England...gas prices ALWAYS spike right before high-travel weekends (Memorial Day/4th of July/Thanksgiving/etc...)

thank god DH and I are boring and don't even bother traveling anywhere!
