Anyone else feel you shouldn't call MS

I should be calling MS on Tuesday for a ressie. Since I am in the 7 month window I am anxious to see if there is avail. for a holiday week but I don't feel right calling.

I think I am going to wait until the following week to allow time for them to straighten out all the stranded travelers and point refunds.

Anyone have similiar (or opposing) thoughts?

need to call to see if i can change my Apr res. from bw to bc and also reserve for 2 nites in October.

Think i'll wait til next week too.

I feel the same way... and I'm at my "under 90 window" to make PS's and book tours... I'm planning on waiting till the following week as well. I may not get my Illuminations Cruise or Segway Tour but when you think of the locals and what they have already been through and what they are dealing with currently, it doesn't seem to relevant...

I feel the same way.
I think that we should let those with ressies for this week and possible travel changes contact MS first. And they may well be short staffed with CMs having suffered damage at home.

(And I may be in that group because we are due to sail on Saturday's western Magic on points.)

I was going to be checking into a GV today, but oh well.
Im not even sure where my points came from.
I need to know it I have to bank them or try to plan a quick trip in Nov. if at all possible.

I too feel the same way, and here's why:

On Friday, I called Southwest Air with a trivial matter (confirmation split) about an end.of.September flight - I totally forgot how Frances-related calls would be overloading their reservation system. When the woman on the phone apologized for the delay, and then gave me the reason, I apologized and offered to put it off until a later date, but by then it had already come up on her screen.

I'd let MS handle the serious stuff first....

For future reference, behind-the-scenes tours can be booked up to a year in advance.

Me too. I have been getting worried about my permanent cards. We closed the end of June and you can see from my countdown clock that we have three weeks to go.

I can wait a couple of days.

I will be calling the end of the week. My parents are supposed to stay @ Vero starting the 19th for 5 nights. I want to see how the area faired, but I have a feeling we will have to postpone or even reschedule for another DVC property.

Amazing what Mother Nature can bring.

We are one of "those" people that has to call MS. We are supposed to be there today ,we got moved untill tomorrow PM.

I called the front desk at BWV to modify my reservation and she said I should call MS Tuesday when I get down there to get my points back. There are 51 points involved. We have a 2 BR and 3 studios , 14 people.

It has been an ancious weekend to say the least.
