Anyone else feel like they did the impossible by getting a discount today?!

I got RO at CR CL! I was on hold for about a half hour and was told by the CM it was the last one!

I feel like the song "walking on sunshine" should be my theme today. I told this to my coworker and she looked at me like I had eight heads! Some people just don't get it

The miracle for me was not getting the discount but the fact that I was only on hold for 4 minutes! Unreal! Good luck to all those on the phones now....

Yes, I do! We have been booked with POP and were going to pay the upgrade for regular dining. But when she said POFQ was available, we switched.

I just never thought there would be openings for POFQ, so I had never considered the possibility. Big surprise and thrill for me!

We considered moving too (doing the reg dining as well) ... it was going to be about $300 less of a discount off rack rate (still a savings of $450 though off rack rate though)... I finally talked myself out of it since we really do love POP and since we are spending a good amount with going to the universal parks for 1 day (it really is insane how much 1 day / 2 parks is costing ... but, that is neither here, nor there... lol). I hope that you love POFQ... and, I'll secretly live vicariously through you!! lol

We weren't even planning on booking another trip (going to WDW in less than 2 weeks!), but the Poly was available for our vacation time coming up in February and since we couldn't afford the Poly for this visit we decided to jump on the discount for February!

I was thrilled to get POFQ for marathon weekend. I didn't think it would be an option, either, but since it's just me and SIL it'll be fun to stay at a more grown up resort!

I kind of feel the same way. We had a reservation at POFQ already for President's week. I know they usually don't offer very many deals for POFQ so when I saw that it was included in the S/P/D I got very excited but my feelings were slowly squashed as I kept seeing people book with the Visa earlier dates. I had discussed Plan A, B, C and even D in the chance things didn't work out for us when I called. When I called this morning I had to be very sly as our daughter was still home getting ready for school but once I got through to an agent (12 minutes which I thought was great - was prepared for about 45 minutes) and found out we could get S/P/D at POFQ and it would save us $540 I was beyond thrilled. We had really wanted to stay at POFQ after staying at POR and it worked out for us! Seriously still on the "high" and we usually go during Spring break so this stalking the boards for discount dates added more stress to the planning but well worth it!

That IS a miracle! I was on hold for 93 min just to put a deposit down on a reservation that wasn't supposed to need a deposit until October 12th. But someone, I was sent a "Your reservation has been cancelled for lack of deposit" email today. ACK!!! You can imagine how worried I was since EVERYONE and their mother was calling in today for the GP offer(s). LOL

I'm super happy that american airlines is having a sale and on top of the Disney discount that I got today, I also saved almost $300 from just 2 round trip plane tickets!

Our travel agent got us $1947 discount off two rooms at the Beach Club for 3/19 to 3/26!!! We did just the room only discount - better for us than s/p/d.

Yes! I was so happy last week when I got the S/P/D for March 1st, POFQ standard view. And then yesterday morning, lo and behold, there was a FD PIN in my email which covered my dates. I called, the CM didn't even ask for the PIN number, and was able to keep my standard view at POFQ, plus, add one more night and another day of park tickets for the price of the S/P/D! And I even had $16 left over. Best. Day. Ever.

I was thrilled too!!! And, then today I feel just as good of a feeling....sweet relief!!!! I am so glad to not be thinking and wondering and worrying every day. Plan A, Plan B...what to do while I am on hold...what if I get a clueless CM...what if I have to leave for work just as Disney picks up....

My mom tried phoning yesterday morning and it said the wait would be 60-90 minutes... Over 2 hours later, she still never got through so hung up. We had seen the free dining glitch on the website and had to head out for a few hours so when we came back home, the glitch had been fixed.

She phoned last night and got through. She started booking things and somehow got disconnected so had to phone back. The second guy put everything on the same reservation she was doing but when we got the confirmation email, things were messed up (insurance was missing, gave us park hopper tickets instead of base (since we are annual passholders we didn't need PH), the deposit she put down wasn't listed, and Magical Express wasn't listed). She phoned back today and got it all sorted out. The guy had messed a bunch of stuff up so she erased everything and our new confirmation has everything listed.

When I compared what we got our package for to the SPD (for the first part of our trip), it pretty much is the same thing. Our first reservation shows TRT as the code (not sure what that is) but our second shows JJO (which I believe we have had before).

We booked Riverside January 20 to February 6.

Feb. 23 - March 1. Tower, Bay Lake (cheapest) view I could get with the discount. But yay for us!

Couldn't get online last evening so finally called. Got S/P/D for POFQ 2/22-2/26 and R/O for the Cars family suites for 2/26-3/1. Saved almost $700 from the original R+Tickets for the whole week AND have the dining for the first half. My husband is happy.
