Try clearing your cookies & cache and then try again.

I was on earlier today but now I can't get on. The DVC page comes up blank.

I have been getting intermittent blank pages as well. I also have issues wiith long delays for the page to refresh when I post to a thread.I thought it was just me.

It's not... I do that religiously anyway... I work in IT.

I have tried multiple computers... different browsers: IE, Firefox and Safari and the site often will take forever to bring up a page... 30-45 seconds. This happens in various locations. Sorry, but that is an indication of site problems, not user or PC problems. I'm guessing either inadequate bandwidth, issue with or inadequate Web server, or too much traffic which goes back to an inadequate Web server or bandwidth.

I have been experiencing slowness on the DISboards site, if that is what you are referring to. It takes a long time and sometimes times out when navigating around the boards.

You can't really judge by one time, which leads me to believe its inadequate bandwidth or inadequate server issues. It's intermittent. Right now its working fine, but last night it was taking a long time.

I frequently have the slowness issue (I have the FIOS high speed access) and I attributed it to too much traffic as well. Nice to know I'm not the only one.

I'm thinking DVC shares the servers with all the other Disney websites, and that can certainly put a strain on bandwidth and traffic.

I assumed the OP was talking about the DVCMember.com site. The DIS on the other hand zips right along and then just kind of stops dead in it's tracks, and then after a while works fine again.

Me, too. Clearing cookies and cache often fixes log on problems with the Members' website.

I agree that the Disboards have intermittent problems with slow response - IIRC, we were told those were server issues.

Ah well that makes more sense why you said the cookie thing then.
